I've noticed so many times that even with my handsome guy friends when they approach 90% of the time she'll say "I have a boyfriend" or "I'm a lesbian", yada yada yada (lies). But when I/we just chill and act like we don't see anybody, all of a sudden we're getting winks, stares, hair flipping, being approached, and getting all of the other signs that they're interested. It's just like when a guy wears a wedding ring. People want what they can't have. If you run up to somebody acting desperate, most likely you going to get shot down. I'm not saying don't approach people, but want the ones that want you. Want the ones that show interest. Cold approaching can definitely work, but acting like you don't give a damn works even better.
