"My experience through life has convinced me that, while moderation and temperance in all things are commendable and beneficial, abstinence from spirituous liquors is the best safeguard of morals and health." -Robert E. Lee

I spent the past weekend observing a few of my associates as they hit the bottle rather hard at our local watering holes. Got me thinking, whenever one becomes sloppy drunk, he loses control, both of himself, and his surroundings. I think this goes against every fiber of manhood, as we should always be in control of our present situation and mindset. Tie this into seduction as you will, but I truly believe it transcends pickup, and hits the core of what it means to be aware and fully present in the moment.

edit: Perhaps abstinence is a bit much, but at the very least being able to remember the entire evening is a worthy act.
