This is a serious phenomenon with me. It's mostly just online dating but it's almost 100% of the time. I know how to have and hold a conversation at least I think I do. Sometimes I wonder if I'm trying to say too much in one message but I don't think its ever anything really that excessive. Why would a girl even reply if she's just going to send one text and never talk to me again. Their first messages always seem normal and they seem like they're genuinely interested and then nothing. I try to chalk it up to them being busy but I'll let a few days go by and say something casual like "hey, how was your day" but they never respond. I'll copy and paste my the message from the last time it happened. My opener was just telling her I'm interested in getting to know her and I commented on some of the things she said in her profile. She replied by introducing herself and asking how my day was and I said... "My day was frustrating. I won't go into all the details but my co-worker's are driving me crazy!! My boss quit this week, so I've been having to pick up all this extra slack, while everyone else is just sitting around being lazy. It's great anger management but I'm afraid I'm going to beat up the old man I work with one of these days, lol I'm just kidding but seriously he's driving me insane! Anyways that was my day, how was yours? Your a nurse right? Did you save any lives?"
