Greetings.

I mainly use okCupid (and Tinder here and there). This is my usual routine when it comes to messaging -

I open with a "Good morning / afternoon / evening", and then add something that is relevant for her. For example, if she has a picture with a breathtaking view in the background, I say that I loved that picture, and then I ask where its from. If she mentions a hobby or or a TV show, then I talk about that and then ask a question, so she has a reason to respond back.

However, a very large portion of them don't write enough about themselves or have any interesting pictures, and even when they do I just don't get any responses back, essentially making the whole thing more frustrating than efficient. I spend so much time thinking about something sophisticated to write to them and I almost never get anything in return.

If you have any tips or advices for me from what I said, I'd love to hear them, because I feel like I'm stuck.
