I've been going to music shows lately with terrible luck. Most of the girls had boyfriends, girlfriends. I managed to find 2 that weren't. One flipped out saying that she was "there for the music not to hook up with random dudes." Followed this with "I'm here for the music too. I just wanted to talk." and it ended when she said she didn't want to. Other one was more open but as the conversation went I felt less invested in getting to know her and just dropped things all together.

Is my approach wrong? Or maybe should I try going elsewhere? But where
