Just came back from a party. Two nights in a row now I've had obstacles cockblocking me. Both nights I had my eye on a girl and both times I was obstructed by other girls (both whom are part of my social circle). Are there any tactics to avoid situations like this or do you just have to, like I did, accept that you're not getting anything those nights and try to let the obstacles down easy? I want to be nice about it since one of the obstacles actually has feelings for me (the other just wanted to get laid) and since they're part of my social circle.

Ps. seems a little harsh to call them obstacles, since I know these girls, but just thought it would be easier to stick to the common terminology.
