My grandpa was a wise man. Passed away two years ago. I didn't realize it when he first spoke these words, but this is some of the greatest advice he ever gave me:

When it comes to girls, treat them like dirt and they stick like mud.

As a young man, I thought this was crude. Now, I realize that -while the language is indeed crude- all he was telling me to do was throw some negs at the ladies.
