So I was just reading some articles about human engineering, mass manipulation, control, persuasion engineering ect.. And I was wondering, doesn't anybody practice NLP anymore?

I got into pua a long time ago, the same way most of us have. And let me tell you something, the game has changed considerably. Any body who knows anything about pua knows that it started as an underground scene and people in Usenet groups used to post their canned lines, canned routines, canned openers and it worked!

Since then the game has evolved, it had to right? It became more mainstream, the canned openers were outed, and all of the information in the community was exposed. it had been trivialized to the point of an MTV show and brought "the game" mainstream.

After the game had become mainstream the focus shifted to more of a personal devolpement framework and devolping strong inner game, which is also great.

Now, what I would like to ask you is what happens when something becomes mainstream? People Capitalize, right? As a matter of fact, the reason the game had become mainstream in the first place was for the simple reason that people were starting to monetize it. Eventually giving birth to youtubers like Simple Pickup, and then the modern day bullshit where they are "pranking girls."

How does one Capitalize? It's sales 101, you find a need (or create one), and you offer a solution (offer value). If you were targeting an audience, wouldn't it make sense to target the biggest audience possible? Now how do you sell to a huge audience, you dilute you're content to the point where any Moe, Dick or Harry can understand the principles. The smaller, morr targeted your audience your audience ( 50 year old cyber security guys for example), the deeper structure level and intricate your content can be.

At this point, lets revisit canned openers. Why did they work? How were they formed? Did people just spew out bullshit until they got laid and say the same thing over and over again? Obviously not, obviously everything was engineered a certain way to get desired results. How did they do that? By using NLP to ellicit certain emotional and biological responses that lead the interaction to sex. They then field tested them and when they got results they wanted, shared their patterns online. Eventually you would understand why and how patterns were working and naturally integrate them into your personality. Essentially becoming a natural and pulling massive amounts of women.

The main focus of pua changed because you can't teach the average 15 year old in highschool human engineering. You can teach them basic principles of self devolpement however. so in order to attract a wider audience pick up artists started using the same NLP tactics that they once used on women, but now on the community To engineer themselves as an authority figure, to create followings, to market to you.

Which is all fine! It's business! Its all good! Pua got me into personal devolpement and I've read fantastic books by legendary authors because of it. I have devolped massive skills in my personal and business life because I was fascinated with the art of pickup. But let's not lose sight here. Canned routines still work amd I can sit here and create one for you right now. Discuss
