So I just found out about Tom Toreros apparent suicide and it has me really upset and questioning everything. For any fans of Tom, you know how much he talked about warding off depression, and how much he talked about never settling down and living the player lifestyle for as long as possible.

I was so convinced he had thought through this shit and he was an intelligent guy who spoke with confidence on these matters. Now ofc I do feel these doubts about it. It seems a large percentage of long term PUAs either give in and get married, kill themselves, or develop a substance abuse problem. Makes me think that perhaps even if its illogical in many ways, we have a psychological need to have a partner. Staying in the game does seem to take its toll on people. I can understand the pain of once you're in your 40s, it just gets harder and harder to pull every year.

Id love to hear any thoughts you guys have. Rest in peace Uncle Tom
