I recently switched to Computer Science as my major, and coming from a PUA background, I have to say, I don't think I've ever met so many AFCs in my life. Every single guy that I meet in my uni's computer lab falls into one of two categories: A. overweight and awkward or B. lanky and awkward. Both are nice groups of guys who are excellent boyfriend material. Obviously, all of them are single.

Furthermore, today, I watched "Crazy, Stupid, Love" over lunch. Despite it being probably the worst example of pickup that I have ever seen, it sets a sort of example of what our culture thinks the successful PUA looks like - a fast-talking, well dressed male model who drinks and really doesn't have any other interesting qualities. Well, I hate to break it to any AFCs (if you don't know if you are an AFC or not, chances are high that you are an AFC) reading this, but that's a load of bullshit.

The most important aspect of one's game is their frame, or how they present themselves to targeted women. Frame will dictate exactly how one talks, what they wear, and what sort of canned material one uses. I have met many a PUA who thinks that they have to be dressed in expensive clothing, nice shoes and an expensive haircut. Unfortunately for them, I have spun plenty of successful game in jeans and a t-shirt, with my hair looking like I just rolled out of bed. Why?

Because of my frame. When I talk to women, I play myself as the "eccentric genius" (and it's not hard - I'm a nerd at heart). I speak articulately with a large vocabulary, present interesting topics of conversation, and have math or science related canned material (believe me, a lay explanation of four dimensional objects does wonders). Because of my frame, I don't need to look incredibly nice. I don't need to waste money on expensive shit, because I embody exactly what makes for successful game - it's not what you're looking at that's important, it's what's coming out of my mouth. What comes out of my mouth says that I'm intelligent, educated and driven to pursue a degree. What comes out of my mouth dictates that I'm of high survival and replication value, and that's what gets PUAs laid.

The computer science guys that I know don't get this. They assume that hot girls are not something they will win with and they limit themselves to the machine (in all honesty, I prefer machines to women too; machines never lie). They are afraid to break the rules, afraid to take risks, and afraid of failure. They think that their image is too poor to win.

It's only too poor if you believe it. Even the overweight guys can win with girls if they play their frame correctly. This isn't the 1960s, where computers are hard to find things that only weird, eccentric people know stuff about - this is 2011, and the computer saavy man is the employed man, and the employed man is favorable to the douchebag with the nice haircut who will never go anywhere in life.

tl;dr - HBs like smart guys, you don't have to be Brad Pitt to spin game. Stop doubting yourself for being smarter than everyone else - this isn't the 1960s.
