That's called buying temperature. When it gets really high, careful of scavengers and orbiters!

This kind of happened to me the other night. A girl I wasn't really attracted to but wouldn't mind banging invited me to hang out with her and her date who she was going to leave because he was boring and spoke too much, and I was really funny and creating a good mood. I raised her buying temperature, by putting her in a good mood, she started making out with him. She even told me and him, had I not come, she would have left him. Then I told her "come to my place, we'll watch a movie", she then said "no you come to my place", but my mistake was saying this when that guy was still around, he was planning on going home but because I brought it up he wanted to join, and I wasn't planning on fighting over her at HER place. Lesson learned, I should have waited for him to go home and then brought it up. She straight up told me that she wanted to get laid tonight, or better yet, I should have not joined her and her date, waited for her date to bomb, and then call her the next day.

This shit will always happened, it wasn't your night. You won the battle but lost the war. You can live with not getting "the one" one more time. Atleast your brother made it happen rather than someone else. If my brother did that to me, similar things have happened, id smile, say "that fuckin guy" and take a mental not for future revenge. You know those times you can totally steal you brothers thunder but say "nah he's my brother" well here's your "get out of jail free card" unless this was his, then you're even.

There will be others!
You're drunk right now so you aren't thinking straight. Remember the positives of the night, then talk it out/beat the shit out of your brother when you're sober :).

Never happen to me. But if my bro did that, I'd just come up to him out of the blue and beat the sht out of him, no joke. Unless he is a complete rat he is not going to call cops on u or anything.

I feel your pain like you don't even know. Sometimes you can do all the hardest parts perfectly, and then just get screwed in the end by something that seems so minor and ridiculous.
Don't get down about it - just think, hey, it worked once. Now I can do it again. Chance of success = very high.
Finally, walk faster. No, seriously. Many girls I've talked to have expressed distaste for how slow most guys walk. It's a personal pet peeve of mine, tbh. When you walk slow, it makes you appear lazy and lethargic. A brisk pace shows you're confident and active. But obviously, match your pace to the girl's - don't walk so briskly that you're 10 yards ahead of her. ;p
I almost never find a guy who naturally keeps up with me, so when someone matches me stride-for-stride I notice it and find it very hot. On the other hand, when they make comments like, "Damn, slow down, is there a fire?" or something similar, it's almost an instant turn-off. "No, there's not a fire, I was just afraid that scary turtle back there was going to catch up to you and nibble at your ankles, and I was worried for your safety."
