Yes approach this girl she isn't married, its just some other guy that's interested in her. Hell! She might not even connect with him that well. Give it a shot what do you got to lose!?

You're right, I like this. Please what about the strategy, he's in the social circle too...Should I befriend him and get introduced to her and steal her or what would be a good game plan? Thanks for your time

Just talk to her directly the next time she's not with that guy. What you're considering (befriending him to get at her) sounds slimy and disgusting; be a man not a roach.

Okay that's good. Thank you. But here's why I thought I'd do that, because now he "picked her up" he's gonna be always with her like her shadow. & I read some old school more than 1 set stuff, it kind of applies to this...It says assume the guys are her friends and befriend them. And like Markemusic said, they're not married so it's not morally wrong

Personally I wouldn't befriend him as you said yourself you want to challenge yourself so I would approach her and her friends on my own. I mean I'm no expert by any means but what I would do is go introduce myself to her friends first and then lastly or so introduce myself to her. Talk to her friends you dont want to seem too needy, get to know them she might jump in the conversation on her own. It's a group conversation not just solely focused on her, but the goal is to get her talking. If she leaves the convo or anything gets to awkward just back out by saying, "I'm sorry I got to get back to my friends it was nice meeting you all." something along those lines. Like you said you're pretty good at keeping a conversation going, so I doubt anything will get awkward.

Hey man! This might not be the kind of answer you're looking for but it's my honest take on the situation.
As soon as you start looking at ways to game a specific girl, or you start analyzing how to out game another guy in your social circle, you have missed the point.
I say this because there is basically no magic trick to out-game another guy. You just have to be cooler, and more fun than him. Iv had bad experiences with trying to compete for a girls attention. You can get real needy real fast.
So this guy beat you to the chase, gamed her up and got her number. You might've missed your chance and it's time to move on. But the good news here is that he could easily get too emotionally invested. If he starts following her around like a puppy dog, you will be in a sweet spot.
If you are the guy in the group that's having fun, doesn't give a fuck, meeting other girls and offering value to the group, she will jump onto your cock one day out of nowhere.
This is because girls don't care about who is gaming them at the moment or who is investing in them more. They care about who is more fun and who makes them feel good.
Either way, your best bet is to semi move on and get back to your grind. Keep loving and learning and making the most out of every day. Next time you get the chance to game a hottie, try not to puss out and everything should turn out beautifully
As he stated above he isn't emotionally invested in this woman he just likes her. And he isn't trying to out game this guy based on what I read. I'm sure he has good intentions with this girl hoping it would lead to something good. I don't think hes trying to compete @ all. Just because another guy is talking to a girl doesn't make it game over for him. It could lead to something great so why move on when he was about to make his move?
