Hey guys!!
Public speaking is a huge fear for many people all around the world. Glossophobia is the fear of public speaking and it effects roughly 75% of the population. There is just something about speaking in front of people that makes people want to just crawl into a hole.
Fortunately, public speaking becomes much easier the more that your practice. Ideally, the best practice would be getting in front of a real crowd and just putting yourself out there. For some people this just isn’t an option at this point. That is completely okay. I made this website to help people practice their eye contact. What I have done is found a whole bunch of pictures of people and audiences looking at a camera. Since they are staring at the camera it makes it look as if they are looking right at you. Practice giving speeches and just talking in general while looking at the people in these pictures right in the eye. It may seem silly but overtime improving your ability to just stare and maintain good eye contact with these virtual people will eventually cross over into the real world.
Currently this website is in beta stage. More pictures and videos will be added daily. Currently, I am just using stock images found around the internet. As the website starts growing in popularity I will start adding high quality pictures taken by myself and hopefully get some good videos taken from an actual person on stages point of view.
Please give me feedback. I would love to know improvements that I could make to the site and the best way do the site. Thanks Guys!
