work on your attraction game so it's solid.
Ask her on the date when you meet her and then go for the # for logistical purposes.

Generally flakes aren't due to a lack of attraction (except in cases where she gave you her number to be polite and get rid of you, and now she's replying to be polite). But mostly she's interested in you enough...it's a lack of comfort and safety that's the problem.

If there's zero emotional connection, she thinks 'I don't know anything about this guy' and then worries about whether the date will be weird/awkward/boring
She may have physical safety issues - does she know that she can trust you and that you're not a rapist/axeman/rapist axeman?
She may have 20 other dudes in her phone also hitting her up, and you're only number 15 in her list. You're just about cool enough to reply to and make tentative plans to meet, but something better always comes up.

In general, once I've got her number, I like to get a good text chat going, then speak to her on the phone. This sets you apart from all the guys who are too scared to call her up.

It also makes her feel safer to meet you, because a phone chat is much closer to a real life chat than texting.

And there's something about hearing your voice that makes you just more real in her mind. Until this point you're just a random dude from fantasy internet land. It's like you're not a real person.

If I'm on Whatsapp/FB messenger I'll often prime her for the call by sending a short voice message whilst texting.

This gets her hearing my voice and builds trust. I then encourage her to send one back.

This is less scary for her than speaking on the phone.

Then I call her up. It's easier for her to answer because she feels like she's been speaking to you already.

Guys usually think their problems are attraction based, when a lot of the time it's to do with comfort and safety.

They're gonna flake if they're not into you.

Not much you can do about that honestly.

If you don't think they're going to turn up then flake on them. They aren't worth the time and are a pretty shitty person if they can't let you know.

Don't text them asking if it's still on. Text them on the day or day before about the date. e.g. Hey I don't want you to ruin some nice shoes tomorrow. We might go for a walk on the beach.

You should get a text back (or not), but it answers your question either way.
