Okay so here's how it is, I want to ask a girl to prom, but I've already asked out this girl once, and she said no. Not in the bitchy "I'm too good for you" no, but the "I'm not ready for a relationship" no. She's also quite shy, so I think that might've been another reason why. Prior to me asking her out she was quiet and shy in class; we'd talk but it felt like a one way conversation. A week after she turned me down, we began to talk a little bit more than usual, not a lot, but enough, and I got the feeling she was a bit more comfortable around me. So the thing is, I want to ask her to prom, but I'm not sure if it's a good idea, but I also think that the main reason she turned me down was to avoid the awkwardness.
