I've been living in London for about a year now, having moved here from a South Asian country. I'm still trying to figure out the dating scene here and would really appreciate some advice.

Back home, dating customs are quite different, so I'm not sure about the best approach here. What are the typical steps for asking someone out? Is it better to suggest coffee, dinner, or just hanging out? What might a woman think of these different suggestions?

I can hold a conversation with a girl and can be friendly and funny, but I'm unsure how to tell if she feels the same way.

Could anyone from London, or anyone familiar with the dating culture here, provide a step-by-step guide or some tips? I’m looking for an A to Z on how dating works in London.
