Maybe relate to something she is telling you, tell her about yourself without her asking her, be vulnerable and then she might be curious and ask you.
But yes, as u/Gerald_of_Rivija said, get her on a date quickly, then you'll see if she's interested.
AH, and only because she is self-centered this doesn't mean she doesn't like you, all it means is that she is self-centered, which a lot of girls are (I would recommend against dating them)

I usually then add my end on it, no more questions, just a statement. Then if anything it still is not making them contribute, you ask them out. This will be the real test to see if they are just not right for you. If no response, you know your answer.

If I were you, I'd just skip this girl, not worth it. There are PLENTY of girls who are excited to talk and contribute, I wouldnt waste my time with these time wasters. Terrible communicators.

This is a dealbreaker for me. It’s a small red flag which indicates some bullshit further down the line i.e. she’s not that interested, she lacks conversational/social skills, she’s dry af. Once the ice is broken, things have to be reciprocal. Otherwise what’s the point?
