First time poster here, so forgive me if I'm posting here and not askseddit. Not sure where it belongs.

I have a recurring issue. This isn't about one specific girl, this is about a number of them.

I get acquainted with a girl, and after awhile I K-Close. The night ends in smiles and good feelings all around.

Here's where the common pattern emerges. In the days/weeks/months after the close, a number of these girls start distancing themselves from me; all of a sudden avoiding calls or texts, flaking, and in a few rare cases turning super cold and hostile.

Sometimes: In some cases, if I were to run into some of these girls again in public, the attraction is still there. Good chemistry, flirting, kino and body contact just like before.

Im confused. Is there something i'm missing here? I have a number of theories but I just wanted to ask you guys what you thought.
