You are thinking too much. I always go for a hug. Ill shake guys hands but ladies get a hug. Being introduced to 8 girls is only awkward if you MAKE it awkward. Im too busy thinking how awesome it is to be around 8 beautiful women than feel that way and you should too!

I would have to agree with most of the guys here. Hug her. It starts the kino early and she has a chance to smell you, more important than you might think. If she is there with a buddy of mine, I still hug her. If she is there with a dude I do not know, I shake her hand, but that is just me.

If you didn't grow up in a "kiss on the cheek" culture don't try to implement it into your repertoire now it's just going to be awkward. Hugs are okay, but hugging or even shaking 8 peoples' hands is awkward. My limit is 3-4 (typically handshakes), otherwise everyone gets the head nod. If everyone is trying to shake hands all you end up with is a web of arms.

Hugging is beta, backdoor way to cop a feel, lame post-modern BS. Men do not shake hands with women unless the female extends first.

Do this...with purpose. Cheek kiss (1x if you're Anerican/Anglo; 2x if you're Latin/European).

If you've met online do it first when you meet in person. If you meet her in the real world, do it when you part (unless you've already made out with her, of course).
