Hey guys, I got a few quick questions I would like to get some opinions on.

1) I recently realized that making yourself laugh is more important than making anyone else laugh, so I recently realed in the amount of jokes I say or witty comments to the ones that make me laugh. I used to just say a shit ton of stupid shit in hopes of making people laugh and it lead to seeming pretty desperate and saying stupid shit.

Is that a decent strategy?

Also, now that I have started doing that, most of my conversations have become a little more "bland". I don't know if they are actually bland or if I'm still holding onto the old standard where there were more laughs (whether they were genuine or fake just because there were more of them).

What standard should I hold for a conversation? What marks a good conversation now that they aren't littered with jokes?

2) I always hear looks don't matter, and I hear some people say they are super important.

Whatever the answer is I'm not really sure, and sure it might vary from person to person.

My question is kind of more personal. My head is shaped kind of funny and I don't know how attractive I am.

I've spent a lot of time with one of my male friends who is often referred to as handsome or above average, and he always seems to get with girls I'm interested in. Note we're in college.

Am I just too busted for these girls? (will PM pics upon request, would appreciate rating)

Should I be aiming a little lower? Or do I just have to adjust my personality?
