Does anyone else watch an RSD video and feel like they spent 20 minutes on someone rambling about some random shit and feel like they learned nothing?

Yep, it is mostly mental masturbation that sounds kind of logical so you feel like you are achieving something by sitting there for 18 minutes. Then you look back and think 'what did that video actually tell me to do, what was the takeaway'. And there was nothing at all in the rant.

Honestly they are far too culty and there are plenty of bad stories about bootcamps etc that get buried by the evangelical followers. For most guys only 1-2 instructors will 'vibe' with what your specific issues are, the rest, just rambling autism.

Rsd sucks as in terms of actual game unless you are a total newbie, but you should read the first 40 pages of mystery method if thats really the case

Yes, I've since stopped following them after months of watching their videos and going to their freetours. There's nuggets of good info here and there, but I found that they mostly handle inner game. Stick to a more reliable source, achieve more solid results. I suggest looking into hardcore pickup posts/forums to become an actual PUA.

Yeah. Please be aware that they don't really teach game. They almost teach placebo and will put misconceptions about game, for example, it's just a numbers game, when it's not.

I have found Madison does this the most. Once he starts trying to make a joke, he’ll really cling on to it for as much as he can. I like Max though, doesn’t ramble as much and has quality content.

I tend to watch their infield videos right before I go out, helps me calibrate and helps with openers.

They ran out of material a long time ago. Since then they've just been regurgitating old material and telling you that the previous method of game was wrong, so you should try this new style (It usually rotates between cold approach, social circle, and social media, then back to cold approach). In terms of actual advice, they just go on "motivational" rants to subliminally give you a positive takeaway since they need to pump out content to sell workshops and keep the business afloat. Their YouTube channel is basically just scummy ads for their expensive workshops at this point.

It was actually hilarious to me when I read The Game recently and Style talks about the way Tyler talks in circles and pumps up his own ego, stretching a simple point to 30 minutes or more. I could read all of Tyler's dialogue in his voice so easily.

Yup, some of the stuff is fun to watch for ideas, but not all of it is one size fits all. That's the problem with all this stuff. People think what works for one person will work for everyone.

I'm tired of watching that fat fuck Luke laugh hysterically at everything Tyler says like he's a stand up comedian. The entire 300+ person seminar isn't laughing at his dumb jokes and Luke is about to have an orgasm from laughter. Which only jazzes up Tyler to keep riffing off on his shitty scenario he's joking about. It's so fucking painful to watch.

I've stopped watching RSD because its all about motivation, self improvement and making money by "building your brand" it's hardly about pickup anymore.

James Marshall is probably the only YouTube pickup I watch in hopes of learning something.

Exactly, RSD has once in a while things that are good, I'm not going to say they're all bad. But honestly if you go full into this and follow it, it's extremely damaging to your psychology long term. And lot of those guys have been depressed, which is normal since they're so deep in their narcissism and the moments that wears off it's not good.

I started 5 months ago and I've had tons of results considering how I started. And I give lots of credit to their information. And Tyler is my favorite speaker. He rambles a lot and I don't like every single one of his talks because sometimes it's irrelevant to me but I'm blown away by their energy and how high level their teaching is. Tyler is at a level where he doesn't even like to discuss nuts and bolts techniques anymore. And I actually like that. Yeah sometimes it's basically self help entertainment, I'll give you that. But I figure it's a better use of my time to hear someone who wants us to be successful and he's sharing his energy and lessons than fucking netflix or whatever. I don't think anyone is putting a gun to your head and making you watch rsd videos - to the haters - you do what you like man. I just know what I like and what works for me, and when it stops working for me then I'll re-evaluate.

I've been following RSD for 14 years now. Their paid video programs are still TOP notch. I've learned so much from them and my life is totally different. However, they decided to utterly SPAM youtube videos, so that they are likely to show up in the "related videos" section of youtube. Therefore they have very noticeably sacrificed quality for quantity. I wouldn't recommend watching any youtube video that's gone out in the last year or two unless you find them entertaining... but their paid programs can change your life.

I've been following RSD for almost a decade. Much of their newer content is just a 20 minute long rambling of a few key ideas that can be summed up in minutes. In a sense, they have made their newer materials less authentic and more business like. Much of their older materials were alot better because their videos made it seem like you were on a journey with them towards self improvement, etc. I mostly listen to Tyler and Julian. The rest of the rsd group fit into a specific niche and the way they pickup women won't resonate with alot of people.

Yeah, I don't really watch their stuff anymore. If you need help with something specific they might have something useful on it, but if I'm only pulling one or two helpful thoughts from a video I'm going to look elsewhere.

You have to be pretty like rigorous about what you watch from them. If a video seems dumb, just cut it immediately, it's unlikely to get better. And avoid watching the newer Tyler videos. He is in a stage of narcissism.

Jeffy's videos are usually good. They tend to have theses and structures. Tyler's videos from ~2013-2014 (maybe '15) can be pretty useful too.

Watch Todd's videos too. He's not with RSD anymore, obviously, but if you're looking for good PU material, you could just stick to Todd and learn everything you need.

It amazes me that these guys build fortunes off talking about nothing and not giving out real advice

The YouTube stuff is just marketing. They make money off of bootcamps and their video products (which are also of variable quality--Julien's are pretty disappointing, for example, but Todd's are excellent).

Every time tried watching that crap...had to turn in off because no way in hell the doofus on camera is getting into any girl's panties unless she is black out drunk or blasted on molly.

There was one forwarded to me last week where some dork in glasses was droning on about how a girl would dance back to you while on a dance floor and he talked over what was supposed to be a real life video (obviously staged)....the dork in clunky glasses and shit clothing was lurking in the middle of the dance floor clutching his phone staring at chicks like a serial killer and supposedly these two girl backed dance across the entire floor to bump her ass into him........he was droning on about how this girl wanted the "cool guy in the glass"....yeah, maybe if she as a serial killer fetish and loves the thrill of possibly ending up chopped to pieces in some dude's freezer.

It was creepy as hell.
