Nice story! I never go out alone but that sounds like a good first time for you! I'm also in a relationship now so I always go out with my girlfriend or friends.

You have to just make moves. That's what separates success from failure. I know it's scary (hell, I'm not perfect or good either), but make sure you break the touch barrier when applicable and look at reactions.

There are different strains of weed. Indica is the one that makes you drowzy, Sativa is an upper, based on what I heard.

Weed is awesome for me when I just want to chill out. In social situations though...nope, not good.

I'm not sure what the point of this question is. Why would you tell your boss anything more than "I need a break from my current location and decided to party here". Why would you tell him you're there for gaming/gambling? Use common sense. Lying is a thing too. Who care if you haven't gambled? Are they going to ask you for a portion of your winnings? Why can't you just say you've gambled whether or not you actually did? Who cares?

When it comes to the gym, it's not a big deal what you wear. I happen to be the same as you and I don't give a shit what I wear if it keeps me comfortable while I lift. I think that's the case with most guys who gym seriously. A lot of those guys you see with fashionable gym gear also probably spend more than necessary on big brand names, which is why it looks fashionable.

I'm going to take the other road and say you do nothing, you make no moves, and you whine on here about it. So I would say that same thing to you given your post history. If you actually made an effort to change, I would say fuck that guy, but you make no effort so...

That's actually the beauty of it. My current girlfriend (who is my first since my ex) is just a lot better. She may not be as conventionally attractive as my ex (ex was hot), but she has a great personality and she's extremely pretty to me as well. Also, I said the same thing you did when broken up with. If you think logically, what's happening is that you were with her for 6 years, formed a routine, it's like a drug, so it's going to take a bit to get over it. Took me like a year or so to get o…

I've been here too. Honestly, the only way to start is to just go to a bar or something and talk to people. I used dating apps a lot/mainly when I was dating around and found my girlfriend on one. If we ever break up, I would likely stop using dating apps as well.

You do it by not trying ironically. I was in your shoes a few years back, asking the same questions, on the same subreddit, and it just didn't help. It's a lot more effort than just meeting new people. Don't waste your time pining away for this girl (easier said than done, I know).
/r/seduction04/10/18 07:25 PM

I'm wondering the same thing. I have no idea how to actually go about making a new friend out of it. Especially since my girlfriend will likely not take it well anyway.

This is a fantastic write up. I still happen to think RSD is a bunch of snake-oil salesmen but if they help guys, then nothing wrong with it. I still watch some of their videos for shits and giggles and for just social ideas despite having a girlfriend.
/r/seduction24/09/18 06:02 PM

You can. My recommendation depending on your personality is to send "so am i being ghosted?" with a smirk or ghost emoji. I've done it and it worked once but it doesn't hurt if the girl appreciates light humor and you established yourself as such.

Again, you're overthinking. It's natural but stop it because this is how you'll turn into an incel. I also took a look into your posting history out of curiosity, and I hate to say it, but hanging out on the subs you do, I would recommend you get off them.

Bro, just ask them to hang out or to go on a date, there is no difference as long as you keep making moves on them during the date.
/r/seduction10/09/18 07:59 PM

You're overthinking. I can tell you overanalyze. Just fucking do it instead of thinking so much. I was like you at 17, it did me no favors.
/r/seduction10/09/18 07:53 PM
1

Who cares? If they have boyfriends, they'll tell you and that's it. There will be some awkwardness but it's better than just jerking off in your room using your tears as lube.
/r/seduction10/09/18 06:41 PM

You don't need a girlfriend. She won't solve your problems. You're 17, just talk to everyone and flirt with all the girls. That's it. Don't be shy about showing interest and asking them out. It'll give you a leg up on other guys.

You work on yourself and don't take rejection personally. I was dateless through high school and most of college. I turned it around. You can too.

Tinder was great to get me more experience/sex but most of the time, it just felt stupid. Part of it was because I was just not really analyzing what I did wrong and only having 3 dates up to the "I'm not feeling a connection" text. I also just noticed better connections when I met women organically. I'm in a relationship with someone I met on Hinge now though, but that was when I figured out a few things and it just worked out.
/r/seduction05/09/18 03:17 PM

It's until like 30 I think when women lose that mindset.

This. What is clingy to one girl isn't always clingy to another.
/r/seduction29/08/18 01:35 PM

I came up with a way to make it lighthearted. If date and no response to post-date text: "Oh am I being ghosted? ghost emoji or smirk emoji" It worked for me once and I used it afterwards without feeling weird. Granted, only send it once to the girl and do not follow up after that because if no response, she obviously doesn't find you appealing. If no response before a date, I just wait a bit and try again and then move on.

You're both overestimating tinder and overestimating the amount of poon you can pull on it. While it's possible you could clean up, a lot of women use it as a validation thing and they also tend to just move one to the next guy easier as well. And while it can apply to you too (easy to move on, etc.) it's also way overhyped. That said, I had a decent amount of success on it when I was single.
/r/seduction27/08/18 03:29 PM

So the good old "they want what they can't have" approach, attention in this case. What about just interacting with these types of people in general? I enjoy making good first impressions so ignoring them for the purpose of it being different than what they normally get is a little detrimental after a certain point no?
/r/seduction24/08/18 03:39 PM

You seem to have some weird views about women if you think relating to them is a bad thing. I get what you're saying about making her react to me, but I wasn't running game, I just wanted to meet this girl because she's a friend of my girl. I was basically doing the standard "oh what do you do?" and "any embarrassing stories about my girlfriend?" thing. I honestly wasn't trying that hard because I wasn't completely on. She wasn't toxic or terrible, just talking to her was kinda like pulling teet…

Sounds like my friend lol Guy gets a lot of attention from women that he just doesn't move on because he's shy. Meanwhile, I have to be aggressive to get that attention which doesn't lead to much since my game is hit and miss. Guy would clean up if he had my attitude.

I think there's a line. I tried the whole "texting for logistics" thing once and while it kinda worked, shit felt really transactional. Basically, it was a combo of us not really having chemistry and just setting a tone of "hey, lets do something" and then never talking until the day before.
/r/seduction06/08/18 09:03 PM

/r/seduction02/08/18 09:57 PM

So why don't you ever address this being done a year ago? Like I saw it mentioned before but you never actually tell people this in comments which makes me think you're either full of shit or purposely avoiding it for some reason.
/r/seduction02/08/18 09:39 PM
1

That isn't true in my experience, at least not completely. Probably because I mostly did online dating so it was more a "well it's not working with him so I can just never see him again" as opposed to a girl I met through friends and kept seeing. I did end up doing things with girls I met through friends in a few situations though but I'm just a flirty dude in general.

I'm in my mid 20s (well now late 20s) and I can't make friends with girls for shit. I just hit on all the girls I find attractive and it usually just looks like I'm asking them on a date even if I do do it from a "I want to hang out" perspective. Good write up though.
/r/seduction27/07/18 07:00 PM

I just found that a lot of the hotter girls (online and in person) generally are awful at conversation. I'm not some conversation genius myself, but a lot of them are boring people. Or I'm just a little bitter about my past rejections, I don't know.

My guy, stop with the excuses already. What kind of question is "Is it still normal to date at my age?" I mean, honestly, what kind of question is that? What rational person sits and asks others "You know, I'm X years old, am I too old to date?" There's no fucking cut-off. I'm not sure why you seem to focus so much on that, that's what frustrates me about all your responses. Is it too late to get into shape at 26? Is it too late to move out at 26? Things don't just close down for you if you don'…

I agree with everything you said, but your defeatist attitude is what kills you in the dating life. I didn't have dating success or experience until I was in my 20s. It's fine if you want to take a break, a break is good, but stop with the defeatist bullshit I'm seeing in your post history. "Oh my time passed" "Are bars not for me?" Who gives a fuck? Just do things. It's not wonder you can't attract women. You have limiters on your beliefs for some reason. Talk to a therapist about all this.

Don't get me wrong, it's good that you're more social and happy with yourself and want to work on other aspects of your life, but the fact you just kinda have this "might as well lay down and die" attitude about your sex life is what frustrates me. It's fine not to be all sex-driven and improve in other aspects, but it's a complete other thing to be 26, say "my ship in dating has passed, might as well become celibate". You're fucking 26! What if I told you you can focus on improving your dating …

This is borderline the worst fucking thread I've seen on this sub. I'm sorry but your comments are literally just "I haven't had a woman attracted to me ever so I'm just giving up on women" and a bunch of whining. It's good that you're taking a break but dude, you're 26 not 86. I bet the whole issue is you're too pussy to show intent to a woman because you're scared of rejection. Yo, all of it is the same shit. In the end it just comes down to having balls to approach and make moves. PUA guys like to act like there's some type of science to it, but there really isn't much aside from just paying attention to body language and listening to people. That said, look at Todd. I like his stuff a lot more than RSD.

You're clearly fucking blind or stupid if you think the shit wasn't staged. Yeah, the messages were there, but the results were staged 80% of the time. Did you bother to read what he was saying? I don't practice pickup like a lot of guys here. I just take core principles like kino and try to apply them. I'm also in a relationship now so it's more just for social purposes.
/r/seduction16/07/18 06:06 PM

I mean...I'm pretty sure a lot more of it was staged than we think. I remember being floored by how good looking one of the "virgins" was after the makeover and then I found out Cosmo was an actor and it all made sense. Plus, I don't think the interactions with the women were that genuine. You can choose to believe it, but you can also choose to believe that the Jersey Shore isn't staged either. So I was watching a Todd video and this put it all into perspective: Persistence is asking her out, neediness is the quality of the approach So basically, it's fine to text if you have something relevant, but it turns needy if it's always you texting in a desperate way.

Ultimately I do want marriage and kids and with her, neither of us is looking at marriage any time soon. So it's fun. But on the other side of the coin, the thing that freaks me out is that the longer you're with someone, the more pressure/expectation there is about marriage and also it's just the loss of time in the sense that you're getting older, losing life, etc. It's one thing to be with someone for a year or two at 18 and another when you're in your mid to late 20s. Yup, guy always posts about his disability and yet refuses to do much about it. He basically embraces all the negatives about it instead of the positives. It's one thing to be like "I have autism but I don't let it stop me" and another to do what he does which "I have autism and it stops me".

So, I'm going to tell you a story about me and my ex. She was my first serious girlfriend and she was fucking hot. Like, SUPER hot. She also got hit on a lot. Personally, I didn't care because at the end of the day, you want a girlfriend who gets hit on because it shows she's attractive (at least in my opinion). Does she not like men making moves on her? I'm just really confused by these articles because I legitimately want to know how these women who write about it think of dating. I hate articles like this. They basically indirectly shame men for approaching women. Not to say there aren't guys who take it too far, but a lot of PUA is just to get men more comfortable with talking and making moves on women. This writer acts like men should just sit around and wait for a woman to approach them.

Just to comment on your fear of herpes, it's not THAT big of a deal. You can do whatever you want. As someone who did a lot of online dating, I just got a chat going, asked for a number, chatted a little more and then made a date. That's it really.

I'm still not sure why you post your field reports like this. Just from the title alone since you deleted the post, I'm getting a vibe that you just want to post gonewild stories instead of field reports.

You gotta go one step beyond Phelps if you want to be the best. But joking aside, I'm hairy af and never really had problems with it. A lot of girls in their mid-20s liked it (granted that's usually what I go after so..)

That clip was smooth as fuck. I never saw Todd in action and that was awesome. I got a lot of conversation ideas from him. The thing all these videos make me realize is I just can't ever talk like these guys. His way of talking, the language, just reminds me how lacking I am in it, and I'm no slouch either. I guess that's something for me to work on more now that I saw that. I was looking for ways to keep improving while in a relationship, now I found something.

I read through your post history (sorry, needed to see for myself your success) and I'm sorry but you use too many methods. Just talking and busting her balls/making her laugh works as long as you apply some kino and make moves. All this Mystery Method thing you have going is just stupid. That said, the steps are pretty right on for just about any social interaction.

I have this problem too. I fall hard and fast. I'm in a relationship now, but it took me a while to get it after my last one (3 years) and part of it was because I was needy. It's both normal because obviously if you like a person, you like talking to them a lot. Anyway, I started something new where I only text during lunch and after work, not before or during. Again, please answer my question. The fact you avoided my question tells me you have no idea yourself what advice you're specifically looking for. I'm just tired of seeing your comments about how disadvantaged and low-performing you are without you doing anything about it.

You are pathetic. You keep saying "I've seen losers get laid" yet it stops you for some reason. I'm really confused about your posts. You care too much about other people apparently. If you didn't care, you wouldn't keep making the same generic posts asking for the same advice despite not doing anything with your pathetic life in regards to even trying to date. What specific advice do you want? Seriously though, do you want a step by step way to get a woman to like you? I don't understand what a…

I don't doubt you or disagree but you're essentially agreeing with me. People aren't robots so everything you just said, while possible, won't work all the time and just gets better for you the more you talk to people and get comfortable with it.

I mean, I can see your POV here but the whole point I'm trying to make is to not waste your time trying to make some girl like you. Yeah, it's possible and it's been done but you shouldn't put too much effort in. Don't be a fucking try hard. A true seducer doesn't care about whether she likes him or not. That's my opinion at least. It sounds like you just want some magic words to say to make some girl like you, which don't really exist. Again, I'm not anywhere close to Casanova and don't pretend…
/r/seduction09/05/18 07:48 PM

You seduce her by talking to her and spiking emotions by not being too monotonous and reading the situation. I'm not sure what else you want to know. Either she likes you or she doesn't. Don't complicate it like you seem to be doing.
/r/seduction09/05/18 06:57 PM

Dude, what? I'm reading your comments and I think you have some skewed sense of pickup. You're looking into it a little too deeply. You just talk to someone and that's really it at the end of the day. It's not magic tricks. It's about calibration and reading the situation.
/r/seduction09/05/18 06:55 PM

I'm not sure where you got the idea I expect this relationship to last forever. I just said I'm out of it for myself for the foreseeable future in regards to picking up women to sleep with. I'll wing and stuff but that's really it. Besides, I've been through a break up before, so I have more experience with it and can deal with it in a healthier way.
/r/seduction09/05/18 06:52 PM

You didn't mess up if she agreed to a second date. Just text her and set it up. You're overthinking. See the recent post I made. Try to give yourself advice like you would give a friend. You know exactly what to do since you've been in a LTR before. Though it's also easy for me to say this being in a new relationship. I was like this as well up until recently and asking the same questions for years after my last LTR.

But all those tools and methods basically boil down to just jumping into the pool so to speak...the more I think about the questions I posted here in the past, and the more I see others post, its all the same advice. Like, it's easy to tell someone "she's not interested" or something based on a text conversation from the outside looking in, especially if you're in a relationship. But when I was single, I was posting the same shit and asking the same questions about tactics. I guess I'm just rant…

I did a lot of online dating, got a lot of lays through it, and now I'm in a relationship with a girl I met online. For me it was a numbers thing. But at the same time, I also never got into anything long term since my ex because either I or the girl cut it off after a few dates and lack of chemistry. It was/still is a learning process. I would actually suggest the same thing as you when I think about what I did wrong in college. My advice to myself would be to join more clubs and not be scared to show interest to women. I had a lot more luck once I was 21+ but under 21 I pretty much did what this guy did on weekends. It was pretty awful. OP, go join some clubs and meet people that way. Don't sit indoors on weekends doing homework (unless you really need to). Also, reevaluate how you talk to people. If you give off creepy vibes…

That's actually not it at all (I've done stuff with friends before myself). It's just the whole tone and general way they talk about women in videos like this that really bothers me. I'm not a white knight by any means, nor am I some type of Casanova, but I've had my fair share of experience. I just don't really buy into a majority of things RSD peddles anymore because while I don't doubt their success, their thinking in their latest videos is annoyingly misogynistic.

The whole problem with this entire video is that they seem to make it out that women are all having sex with each other, care about your value, etc. While not all of it is fake, the more I listen to the bullshit they spout, the more I start disliking them. I'm all about free love and all that jazz, but the way Tyler talks just screams a guy who views women as below him. I can't even point out specific points that skeeved me out, but them marketing it as some "hard pill to swallow" that women hav…

I get it, I really do. I have this issue too but ultimately, you have to risk it. Think about it like this, if the girl is some random at the bar, what are the odds of you seeing her again? Next to nothing right? Now if it's a girl in your social circle, I have no advice there because I was never good at it. You just have to ultimately read body language, which is something that separates the creeps from the smooth mofos. I had this issue a lot where I didn't read body language and it just led t…

Yup. This is what I keep preaching too. As long as you don't creep the girl out or get too clingy too fast, you're fine. Nope. I found my current girlfriend on Hinge and while she's really pretty, I still get checked out and have gone on dates with women that are objectively more attractive than her. Dating apps don't determine your "league", it's just that people settle for others on dating apps because sex and dating is generally easier. All that said, I have matched with attractive women on dating apps as well. So don't think that the types of women you match with on dating apps indicates anything. The more att…

Your problem was you didn't just ask her out earlier. Next time, be more obvious about you liking a girl. Just flirt and call her cute and stuff. Never be like "I really like you" because it causes some type of pressure to analyze their feelings toward you.
/r/seduction26/04/18 06:18 PM

Do you have her phone number? Despite what you may think, not texting a girl often before a date creates slight tension and a “mystery” factor, which girls absolutely love. Ehhhh not always. It's more likely that momentum halts and then you end up not hearing from the girl again.

I disagree with you here. Sure, he can tell her "I practiced approaching and interacting with people" but to tell her he participates in pick-up is a bit weird. I'm assuming you make money off teaching, which is a whole other thing. That said, I told women about the whole pick-up phase I had before where I tried to learn it, failed and then just learned how to adapt it to my own way more or less (even though I'm still not as successful as I want to be).

LOL I remember back in college as a freshman or sophmore, I went up to a girl, who I recognized from a lecture hall class, and basically just stammered nonsense at her. At least you were direct with it. I used the weird "Hey did we have homework?" opener and then walked away. I did that a lot in my lecture hall classes. I was shy and college was weird before 21.

All very good points. I didn't mean dump info about yourself or just say random things in conversation (at least not all the time). I just think that broadening your horizons and reading new things, watching new shows, etc. is a great way to get out of your bubble if you're a person who likes niche things or think of yourself as having nothing much to offer. But yeah, listening and being aware has been something I started working on the last few months and it really helps.

You're overthinking. When it comes to socializing, you have to know your audience. Some people like a lot of attention, others don't. You're thinking of women as some robots or something.

Just saw your post and responded there but here's my take. I think that while you make good points, the broad generalization is just a bunch of bullshit to me. I'm not a casanova, I never slept with a woman in a relationship (though I made out with one or two, slept with one who was in an open relationship), nor do I judge people who cheat because that's on them. I just think that all of this thinking is outdated and kinda dangerous to newbies. Yeah, shit happens, but generalizations like this j…

I don't doubt this happens, and I don't judge at all, but you're missing the point. Those women are clearly not the faithful ones. I'm not saying you're wrong, but I agree with these guys that your assumption ALL women cheat shows you have what may be considered an unhealthy mindset towards women and relationships.

Right now everything is fine for the most part. Her stress is slightly worse than mine but that's to be expected given what I know. Yeah, I'm giving it a few months to at least try. I barely really know her yet so I would rather give it a shot if I liked her so much to begin with. I knew about her anxiety but I just didn't know how bad it was. It's more that knowing the extent of how bad it can get which spooks me. Not the anxiety itself. The anxiety itself I can probably manage, but not sure wh…

I mean, this is all possible but it's kinda unlikely. I've been on many dates and had a lot of things that just didn't feel right for me. Yeah, I got rejected a lot, but there have been times where I just lost interest too. This situation was more simple in that I had fun with her, saw her a lot in a short amount of time, and it just moved very fast because of emotions. Now I'm learning more about her and basically panicking that it might have been better to just learn all this before becoming e…

panic attacks so bad she doesn't want to leave the house at times (haven't seen it yet but it happened) I'm not really just with her because I don't want to be alone. I just felt some good vibes with her and liked it enough to want to keep seeing her. That's really it. I didn't know anything about exactly how bad the baggage was. I'm talking more about career in point 4. Relationships also in a way, but more casual friendships/expanding the social circle.

Again, you don't know my situation so kindly step off. If you love your life, good for you. I don't care if you listen or not. At least I have my own personality and don't preach to people to read a book like it's a gospel. You're 30 years old, why the fuck are you talking like you're in college?

I'm not saying I don't have my own problems, but you're acting like all women are robotic. That's what I'm arguing against. And as far as my situation is concerned, I'll handle it how I want to.

You're playing too many games bro. The reason you can't keep chicks is because of that. You're basically the far opposite of clingy. It's a give and take man.

Why do you emphasize the age? This is why I agree with the user responding to you. You put too much emphasis on what Corey tells you and don't have your own methods. What works for you might not work for him. You're just giving off vibes that you want to hit and quit and not all girls are into it. Maybe 20 year olds are, but women looking for a relationship with you won't be. You're making this out to be like all women are robots. You're spreading info that doesn't apply to everyone.
/r/seduction19/04/18 06:28 PM

I disagree with the guy telling you texting is only for setting up dates. That's something to start with if you get too eager and clingy. Texting her in between dates is fine if you don't do it every 5 minutes. It doesn't even have to be everyday. I have a girlfriend now but I made a rule for myself that for new girls, I wouldn't text them outside my lunch break or just wait until after work. That way, you don't look too clingy and give some breathing room vs. smothering the person. This can all…

Yeah, I figured that's where the two months came from haha. Sorry if I came off like a dick. So pretty much it's just too early to tell if the cons outweigh pros and if she's the type of girl who will lift me up as much as I try to lift her (as I always do for people I care about). I do enjoy spending time with her and all that stuff so it's not a problem there. I appreciate your advice here based on what I wrote.
/r/seduction19/04/18 03:43 PM

I really appreciate this (even though I normally dislike having people go through my posts haha) Anyway, baggage is her having anxiety, which I thought I could handle until she told me how bad it actually gets. I haven't seen it in action but I have my own moments of stress and anxiety and this might trigger them too. It felt fast to me because we literally became official after a month of casual dating because we were seeing each other at least 3x a week. I was really happy to have this success…
/r/seduction19/04/18 03:39 PM
1

...We moved fast and it's actually only been official for like 2 weeks now. The thing is that I have a lot of good things going on in my life right now so I'm not able to spend as much time with her as I did with my ex (who I went to school with so I saw everyday almost). Plus my last relationship was 3 years ago and I was still in school and young and had no idea what I wanted to do in life. Now I do and I'm trying to work towards that goal. Hence the attempt to manage time.
/r/seduction19/04/18 03:28 PM
2

Yeah, it's still early so I'm just going with the flow. It's just a jarring difference from being single for 3 years and having trouble getting anything to last more than 3 dates to this. It's funny how this happens as soon as I start feeling like I'm finally getting better at dating and seeing my errors from before.

Sex was had, and it was good.
/r/seduction19/04/18 02:25 PM

This is what I started arguing recently. The canned stuff and "say this when she says this" stuff never worked for me. It didn't really click until fairly recently that I just have more fun when I act like myself and do what I want and say what I want. Yeah, sometimes I still have to watch what I say, but being agreeable got me nowhere and just made me bland. Women aren't robots, they're all different and just because one girl rejects you, another girl might love you for who you are.
/r/seduction18/04/18 06:17 PM
31

Don't take rejection personally. Men may not want to date you, let alone talk to you, for many reasons. They could be in a relationship already. They could be tired, hungry, busy, etc. You might just not be their type. In a general sense you are pretty, but everyone has different perceptions and interests. Dating is often a numbers game. Keep trying. Literally the same advice can be applied to men lol
/r/seduction18/04/18 06:01 PM

This is why I think not texting in between dates is bullshit advice. Yeah, don't overdo it, but you don't want to have the person outright forget either.

So start changing it up a bit if you think it feels robotic. I was like you in those situations. Never wanted to text in between the dates because I came off too needy. It was fine for a bit but then it just got boring because I realized she wasn't contacting me and I was just contacting her with plans. Hang outs were okay but not great either. I think you should just change it up a bit if you feel this way. Your overthinking is ruining this for you. As long as you don't text constantly every da…

I'm the same way dude. I know exactly what you're talking about so apologies for being harsh. Your overthinking is fucking it up. I had dates where it felt robotic in between too. Shit was weird. I would only text to make plans and not talk in between at all. That just led to awkward conversations. You have to be able to kinda get comfortable with casual talk in between dates. Doesn't have to be every day, but a casual "what's up?" or meme thing once in a while doesn't hurt. I have a girlfriend …

That's fair, but on the other side, since I went through this, if it's just one side chasing, eventually they become tired of the lack of reciprocity, it gets you nowhere. It's really fucking simple once you think about it. Do you like the girl? Talk to her. Doesn't mean talk to her all the time and be needy, but don't do the whole "hard to get" crap all the time. There's a balance.

For instance, if a guy talks to a girl and keeps up a conversation with her through texting, a girl won't automatically become uninterested because she thinks that guy is "clingy." I mean, it depends how often you text her.

Jesus christ, just fucking kiss her when you feel like the time is right, don't do all this. I used to be awful at knowing when to kiss and over time I just started doing it after light banter. Update - So last night, even though I knew I should've have...I ended up going to the strip club again and wasting $200. I don't know why I went there when I clearly know they are bad for me, it's like I can't control myself. I don't know why I go there, ego boost? Validation? It's clearly counter intuitive, but maybe its me trying to win the game of making a girl like me that is already an uphill battle. Anyway, no more strip clubs for me, I will really drill that in my head. HAHAHAH holy shit
/r/seduction10/04/18 03:58 PM

Having a solid group of friends is one thing, but having a vibrant social life that isn't tied together to your GF, is good also. Oh I have a decent social life and friends that I'm always working on expanding and lately things have been good there recently since I just started collecting numbers of people I want to hang out with. I'm trying to develop professionally as well. I connect with people more in person, online is just used for dating, not friendships.

When I was in grad school, I got sucked into an addiction with strip clubs, spending so much money and just hanging out with strippers by myself. I'm sorry OP but when I read this line I was thinking "oh this was clearly a good idea then!" and laughed really hard.

Thanks so much for writing all this out. I think for me it's a weird mental thing of "I wouldn't have been as successful or been having so much sex if it wasn't for online dating" since I mainly used that as opposed to approach the old-fashioned way. I know it's not a big deal but in my head when I realized it I just kinda went "that's weird". But yeah, you bring up some good points and I appreciate it. The thing is, I tend to fall really hard really fast for women I date and like. It's still early and I think that while she is special to me, I'm hesitant to be definitive about it. We are exclusive as of a few dates ago (actually after 3 lol) and I was the one who brought it up so it's just weird for me. Especially after being single for so long and not having anything last more than a month.

I don't completely disagree with you but not everyone means the same thing when they do the same movements. That's all I'm saying here. To act like these "concrete examples" are one size fits all is assuming everyone thinks the same way.

I agree with you. I don't plan to end it anytime soon because I legitimately enjoy spending time with her and we get along really well. I just get this feeling of...is this it?

I've been seeing a therapist for a month or so now about other things bothering me. This is something that stems from my lack of success when younger and feeling of settling. It's a weird mental thing.

There is no concrete info about this. People aren't robots.

I mean, I've been seeing this girl multiple times a week and enjoying my time with her. But the FOMO is real at times. Especially since I'm just getting a bit tired of the chase and have to focus more on my professional development now (not getting younger and want to actually prosper in my career). I'm sure I could bounce back relatively quickly after this girl given my use of apps but at the same time, I don't want to end it.
/r/seduction09/04/18 03:59 PM

Yup, that's pretty much it. And I really like this girl and get along well with her and all that. So I'm not sure how to handle it. I've had more failures than successes in this department so on a subconscious level, I'm just trying to improve and get more experience especially since I have a better idea of what I kept doing that didn't work now. But of course, I ended up meeting her when I started improving and we hit it off. So...yeah. FOMO is hard. And just for context, I'm 26 and I've been w…

I had this issue for a while. So I limited my use because I just wasn't getting results anymore. Part of it might just be women didn't like my pics, or the apps dried up. I got on Hinge though and now I'm basically dating a girl and progressing towards an actual relationship with her.

I agree with this. The monetization killed it for Tinder. Bumble isn't as bad but a lot of women just don't want to start conversations.

While I do agree with you, money and status do help. They just make life easier in certain aspects. Being a poor fuck who has no friends or nothing going for him isn't exactly going to help you get laid. Being a guy with a job and some hobbies and a social life will help. Also, you get better quality women. The women who are worth it generally look for guys that don't weigh them down and are actually ambitious. If you want a lay, yeah, it doesn't matter as much, but for serious relationships, it…

That movie comment was a joke haha. I don't really worry as much anymore because I'm currently seeing a girl exclusively which is going pretty great. There are differences between us but not many dealbreakers so far.

With her it was drinks at a barcade first date, dinner second date and movie third date. The movie was The Snowman though, which probably explains why she lost interest. It was an awful movie.
/r/seduction05/04/18 05:57 PM

She responded faster in the beginning and then after the second date, it just took a day and the third date just led to two days before I got the hint. It sucked in the moment since I really liked her, but now I don't care and chalk it up as a learning experience. I also just try now to not text all the time (or as often at least) given my poor results after her. I guess what I'm getting at is to not put too much stock into a single girl once she starts taking days to respond, even if you though…
/r/seduction05/04/18 04:10 PM
3

This is exactly what I wrote. I had this problem as well where I started strong, busted their balls, etc. before and on the first date, but then I started liking the girl and my mindset changed to "I don't want her to hate me and leave me" which more or less led to "I don't feel a connection" from her. It might have been other things as well obviously, but I wasn't exactly "myself" either upon more reflection.
/r/seduction05/04/18 02:46 PM
1

It's because you play it too safe. I had/have this problem too if I meet a girl I like. I get so scared of putting her off that I don't really let my true personality come through and I become very agreeable without the whole "challenge" aspect. Also, you probably put too much investment in them which makes you look clingy. It's fine to do that after 3 dates or so (or at least ramp up communication), but don't do it too soon.
/r/seduction05/04/18 02:40 PM
3

I dated a girl like this once a few months back. Went on a few dates with her and she just took forever to get back to me (3 dates before she ended it completely). It wasn't worth the headache or anxiety waiting for her to respond.
/r/seduction05/04/18 02:38 PM
2

You're 17, you probably have little idea what the world is like outside of HS
/r/seduction03/04/18 04:20 PM
1

Oh hey, I have the same issue with neediness. I definitely pushed a lot of girls away with the mass texts and cutesy shit after a few dates. I recently started seeing one who I kinda have a decent balance with because she seems to dig me (plus we're exclusive pretty early on because I like her).
/r/seduction02/04/18 04:25 PM
1

This is easy. Since you'll be at her house, likely watching Netflix at some point and if she sits next to you, that's a green light to kinda rub up against her and see how she reacts. Then from there, rest your hand on her leg and see what happens, then arm around her to see...and then just kiss her at some point. It's less awkward than you think it might be.
/r/seduction30/03/18 05:44 PM
15

This is exactly why I don't take a lot of these "I did X and she reacted Y" posts seriously anymore. Too many people on this sub act like women are computers.
/r/seduction28/03/18 07:01 PM
2

I usually noticed I had more luck finding girls I vibed with in person rather than online. But I also was unconsciously changing my personality from what I did online to when i met the girls in person so that affected things. I recently met a girl online that I'm seeing and it's going well though so...it's somehow worked out when I stopped limiting my personality. But yeah, generally, the women I get in person vs online are usually more attractive.
/r/seduction27/03/18 02:14 PM
1

While you aren't wrong here, none of us know what your issues are since we don't know you. Of course you're going to get advice like "talk to everyone". My advice is to not be afraid to show interest since that may be something you're not doing. How blatant are you when hitting on women you're interested in? Like do you pussy foot around the issue or do you let your intent be known?
/r/seduction26/03/18 05:44 PM
1

That's pretty much what I'm doing here. If I didn't like her or get along with her as much as I do, I wouldn't still be seeing her.
/r/seduction23/03/18 02:41 PM
1

I decided to give it some time before evaluating it. Basically, I'm willing to wait a little in this case since I do enjoy her company and talking to her.
/r/seduction23/03/18 01:29 PM

orrrr it could be something traumatic? What the fuck is with some of these comments? Some of you guys have awful views about women.

Because I liked her, it's not complicated dude.
/r/seduction22/03/18 05:46 PM
1

It's more that I liked her enough to go exclusive and jumped the gun. Oh well haha. I'm going to give it some time to see what happens. I have too much going on now to really date multiple women so I just decided to try it out with her. I don't regret it but I'm kinda confused.
/r/seduction22/03/18 04:29 PM
1

My whole issue with the whole "you're giving her something with nothing in return" is that in this case, it could be something traumatic that happened and while it's not my place to help and I'm not obligated, I also don't like the whole "give her support hoping she has sex with you". I don't expect sex just for being a decent person. The advice being given teeters way too close to niceguy territory for me to take it seriously. Yes, I am giving her my time and support with hopes of getting sex a…
/r/seduction22/03/18 03:55 PM

I mean, I admit I jumped the gun before actually knowing what was going on but it's more about the way the guy gives the advice that makes me not want to take it.
/r/seduction22/03/18 03:37 PM
2

What the fuck? You have some really fucked up views if you think what I wrote is "toxic". Until I feel like I'm being manipulated, I'm not sure what about my situation is toxic.
/r/seduction22/03/18 02:43 PM
3

The problem is I jumped the gun a bit and proposed exclusivity. I genuinely like her, but I also now think I moved too fast. I also don't see it as enabling her selfish behavior because I have no idea what caused those issues and I'm not going to push her to tell me. So while I'm not one to talk, I think you should really think about what you just said about someone who may be working through something heavy.
/r/seduction22/03/18 02:25 PM

The only way to become used to it and better at it is to do it. Don't overthink it. Go for hugs and high fives first.
/r/seduction19/03/18 03:35 PM

You're overthinking it. Just touch at certain points, like a joke or something, and see how they react. That's it. You don't need a fucking book to learn when to touch someone. You just do it and see the reaction.
/r/seduction19/03/18 02:55 PM
2

This is on point. The whole listening thing is something I'm constantly working on in various aspects of my life. It's really hard for me to listen to people in general, especially in conversation, when I'm thinking about something new to say to keep the conversation flowing. Since I started listening, I haven't really had this be a problem as much.
/r/seduction19/03/18 02:53 PM
1

what TorDZues said, just talk to her and don't overthink it. Just don't blast her phone up every second just to talk. Ask her out sooner than later and see what happens. Every time I get into this mindset like you just wrote, it drives me insane.
/r/seduction16/03/18 05:38 PM
1

That's not too tricky. Just don't blow her phone up all the time. Obviously if you like someone, you want to talk to them more, which isn't a bad thing. But at the same time, don't just be free all the time to talk. I have this problem all the time when I really like a girl. I tend to want to text all the time and I can tell you that multiple times it just led to the girl losing interest faster. Part of it was probably lack of chemistry but texting all the time without anything else to do didn't…

I don't think I ever had that. Or if I did, I haven't had it for a while. Like I invite a girl over that I matched with online, she might come over, we have sex or whatever, and then I'm like "I could have and have done better". I thought I had more than usual after I stopped using it. Or I just didn't always use them up for a bit so it looked like I had more. Plus I was getting a shit ton of matches at the time I wasn't out there liking first.
/r/seduction08/03/18 07:36 PM
1

Also as a note, the likes they give you stack up! If you don't use any one day, they're still there the next. I had a period of a week or 2 where I used it minimally and had way more than the usual amount of likes when I got back into. I agree with everything you said otherwise.
/r/seduction08/03/18 06:26 PM

I don't deny that at all, but you writing "the dating world changed" when you're only 22 is laughable. I never said your results are bad.
/r/seduction08/03/18 04:43 PM

Backing this up. Hinge is pretty great. I get a ton of matches on it vs swiping away on Tinder and Bumble.
/r/seduction08/03/18 04:08 PM

I'm unsure if its a shift in the dating landscape, or it's just the age I am now (22.) I hate to break it to you, but this is where I stopped taking you seriously. You're 22, not 42.
/r/seduction08/03/18 04:08 PM

You shouldn't do all that for women. It makes it easier to get women with all that but it isn't necessary. It's an insecurity of mine as well and I'm trying to improve it little by little. You don't need to be rich, but being rich makes life easier in general. That said, please stop posting the same "woe is me" crap all the time. Either shit or get off the pot.

/r/seduction07/03/18 02:27 PM

The only success I had with an actual conversation was DMing a girl who ended up having a mutual friend. I just called her out on it and we started talking.
/r/seduction06/03/18 10:36 PM
1

I do the same shit recently, see a hot girl on tinder, DM her. I just go with the direct approach and call out that I find them attractive and decided to slide into their DMs. Not much luck there but I don't know what else to say haha
/r/seduction06/03/18 10:33 PM
1

Haha someone else got her phone and that's why I just got a read and no response. I'm not that torn up about it, just a bit bummed considering we had a good time and good banter flowing.
/r/seduction06/03/18 08:17 PM

Yup, that's how I ended the date last night and always end it. She didn't text haha. So I took it into my own hands.
/r/seduction06/03/18 08:14 PM

You should generally escalate once you feel like the girl is comfortable and when you start feeling the sexual tension building. It's hard to explain the latter but you'll feel it.
/r/seduction06/03/18 06:44 PM
-1

I get both sides, I just think it's more helpful to talk even if it's minimal.
/r/seduction06/03/18 06:02 PM
3

yeah, I get that. The problem with me is I struggle to find a balance. I used texting to plan meetups a few times and it just led to the girl and me not talking until the date. Then there was the other side where I texted in between dates too much and it led to looking too needy/not as much to talk about. Hence me trying to find a balance now because texting is something so easy.
/r/seduction06/03/18 05:36 PM

Try asking if it's bone time now.
/r/seduction06/03/18 05:17 PM

You're assuming too much about her. Learn this lesson early, don't assume anything about anyone until they tell you. Also, don't be afraid to show you like her. That's the one thing I wish I knew in high school. Don't be afraid to flirt with her playfully.
/r/seduction06/03/18 05:14 PM
1

I mean, what's there to really learn? The only thing to learn is how to approach and some lines. People aren't all the same. Not saying you're wrong, but you're acting like learning this stuff is like learning math or something. After a certain point, it's not really something that can be "taught" if that makes sense.

/r/seduction06/03/18 05:00 PM

It's not so much using old PUA techniques, it's more that I just don't like appearing needy/overeager after a date. It always happens when I really like a girl and while it's not a bad thing, I'm trying to curb my emotions for a bit.
/r/seduction06/03/18 04:59 PM
1

She blew you off once, that's strike one, wait a bit and try again. If there's a strike two, next her for good until she reaches out to you.
/r/seduction06/03/18 04:22 PM
2

I think you're overanalyzing and overthinking this a bit too much. You have her on a slight pedestal and need to stop. Go on a date with another girl in the meantime.
/r/seduction06/03/18 02:20 PM

I mean, I don't have too many friends but those I do have I'm really tight with. It's something I'm working on improving though because it's in the top 5 of the nagging aspects of my life currently. If you're working on making friends and all that, it's not a bad thing. Also, depends how old you are. Then it becomes more about job, living situation, etc.

I mean, what do you want exactly? Do you want a girlfriend or a fuck buddy? Because the way I'm reading it is she wants to keep hanging out but wants to be clear it won't lead to anything right now. So I would still hang with her, flirt, escalate and see what happens. But don't put all your eggs in one basket either. It's simple, once the floodgates open and you hook up with a girl, it becomes easier to have it happen again with her, unless you were bad in the bedroom. At least from my experienc…

I upvoted you because I just posted the same thing about my dates. But I wouldn't really recommend routines. Yeah, DHV stories would be nice to have in the back pocket, but the guy can't just go out expecting the conversation to go that way. Based on what you said, my advice is to do an activity for the first date. That was a game-changer for me when I started going to pool halls/barcades for dates because they worked out much better than just bar dates. I agree with you 100% I don't really follow RSD at all, just watch their videos once in a while for witty line ideas and out of boredom. I just decided to watch the video randomly and they just make it out to be more complex than it should be, though there are some decent ideas thrown around. That's the one thing I have trouble grasping about the whole pick up company thing. They act like all women are the same and it's more difficult than just talking to them like humans. Firstly, RSD is a group, not sure why you say "him", who is him? Secondly, I'm not saying they have bad advice at all, but it's all general stuff that after a while is common sense. They're a business first and foremost, that's all I'm saying. The girls all these PUA guys on youtube pickup are either drunk or paid usually.
/r/seduction28/02/18 02:31 PM

I noticed the same thing. I'm not saying I don't watch their videos once in a while for ideas/shits and giggles, but these guys just want to sell a fucking service. The older I get, the more skeptical I become of the legitimacy of all these pick-up vids

While you make a good point, I think it comes down to confidence mainly. Short term, the guys with no job have it and while I'm sure they can get laid frequently, the women they lay are probably not viewing them as long term prospects/aren't keepers themselves. The guys with the good jobs, hobbies, etc. are viewed as more long term prospects as soon as they have the confidence to approach/make moves. They also can probably get higher quality women who actually want something in life. That's my w…

Stop masturbating. If you do masturbate, make it just a physical act and stop flashing lots of images in your mind that make you cum faster. You'll notice that if you masturbate as just a purely physical act you'll last longer. Every time I do this, I end up busting quicker than normal haha. It does allow me to bust from a BJ though if I stop masturbating.

I have the same issues and have no idea what causes it. Sometimes I think it's because I'm too available, come across as too clingy, make shitty relationship jokes when we aren't even in a relationship, etc. I date women for 3 weeks and then it breaks off, so I'm not sure what it is, hence me tweaking things .

I'm the same way with women. I get insecure in the dating and persuasion phase and come across as needy. I just try to focus on other shit as opposed to the girl. My current issue is I'm insecure about how long I last in bed so I'm working on that. Basically, what I'm trying to say is to work on your insecurities. Also, probably for the best you stop talking to your ex.
/r/seduction26/02/18 03:29 PM

I get that. Easier said than done, but try not to worry about it because some girls are going to think you're a creep regardless of what you do. That's the risk you have to take. There are always going to be girls that aren't into you.

This is why I don't take online dating seriously anymore. I have a lot more luck and success long term when I meet women offline because I don't have to hide my personality as much. Don't go into it expecting to get laid. You may get performance anxiety depending on your masturbation habits. As said by the other guy, foreplay is king. Ask her what she likes and doesn't like. Wear a condom.
/r/seduction22/02/18 08:47 PM

I mean, I get that, but if I'm trying to start a new conversation with a girl after ending the last one, by text specifically, that is where I struggle with trying to figure out what to do. Sure, I can bring up something relevant to what we discussed last time/when we first met, but what if that isn't an option?
/r/seduction22/02/18 03:42 PM

Do you flirt with her already? That's how I break down the barriers. I just flirt with everyone and eventually end up making out or getting hot and heavy with girl friends of mine.

I'm talking about starting a new conversation, not continuing one, so your second point isn't really applicable to my question.
/r/seduction22/02/18 02:58 PM

Some of it can be embellished. They are trying to sell a product/service after all. I'm just guessing based on what I heard as well.

...Are you asking how to know if you're going too far? That shouldn't be a question and should be obvious from the girl's reactions.
/r/seduction21/02/18 07:26 PM

I did the same thing for a long time before figuring out what to do. You just have to pay attention to how the person reacts. That's really it. Some girls aren't going to like it at all, some just take time to warm up to it. That's really it. From there, just talk.
/r/seduction21/02/18 05:28 PM
1

I agree with this. I've really never been in the friendzone because I flirt with all the women I know. It doesn't always happen immediately but after a while we just end up doing something...and it happened multiple times. I'm also legitimately their friend though, but I have no problem being myself and talking sex, my dating life, etc.

I disagree on some of your points. Online dating is great to show you how many options there are out there if you do get rejected. Also, it does help build game in the sense that you have to actually talk on the date. And it did make me more comfortable with rejection given how many of my dates when I started REALLY dating were just one and done situations that took me an embarrassingly long time to really evaluate (still have some issues but whatever). So while you make good points, I disagree …
/r/seduction21/02/18 02:55 PM

That's the first thing I thought of too. While online dating isn't the best way to learn to approach, you still have to talk and have game on the date.
/r/seduction21/02/18 02:48 PM

I build better chemistry if I meet them out vs on tinder. Tinder has been good to me with lays, but as for something consistent and lasting, I never got it from online dating. Most I usually get is 3 dates then a slow fade on my end or their end (usually theirs) or I get a "I'm not feeling a connection" text. I'm not even really looking for a relationship from the get-go, just something consistent with potential for a relationship.

That was without guestlist. I also think it was because Gucci Mane was there that night so it was more than usual. Friend told me it was normally $40 when I told her we went. The thing about Liv as well is that they apparently pick and choose who goes in, regardless of who is in line.

When I went, it was Gucci Mane night, $20 for a drink and they charged $4 for ice! It wasn't bad though considering it just meant the drinks weren't watered down...though it also meant I only had around 3. Cover was a whopping $100 per person that night as well. I just went to Miami Beach last week with friends (and went to Liv). My advice is to really not go to Liv with the intent of gaming. This is solid. I don't really like point 4 only because while I agree social media is important, it sucks that you're judged on it. I'd rather be judged on who I am as a person as opposed to how i portray myself on social media. It makes me very self conscious with how many likes I get, since I was never the most popular kid growing up (well known, yeah, but never most popular). it fucked with me to the point where I believed I have no friends (sometimes I still believe it).

My issue with your post is you assuming all relationships and women are the same. Yeah, you can argue that most women want a guy to make moves, initiate sex, ask them out a certain way, etc. But that doesn't mean all women like that. I'm not going to read the advice this guy got because I don't have time nor care, but not all relationships are the same and this girl and guy sound like they're both just inexperienced. I have this issue as well and I know what you're talking about. The most popular advice is to use texting to set up dates and not go into conversation too much until you're dating. When I did that, while it worked, it always kinda led me to not talk too much aside from once or twice a week to set up a date. It felt robotic. I've always struggled with not looking needy because I love talking through text, but also, it can lead to less conversation on a date, for me at least, especially if I met t…

I'm going to go against the grain here and tell you to assess what you really want. If you want to try again, tread lightly back in. Don't invest too much too soon because it could very well end in like a month again. I wouldn't blame you if you wanted to go back, because 4 years is a long time. /r/seduction15/02/18 08:57 PM
2

I can relate to you a bit in the oneitis part. You need to limit how much you text her. Just lessen it slowly.
/r/seduction15/02/18 08:55 PM

Now, a decent looking woman can go out and get laid almost any night she wants. So it's a lot less valuable. Huh? When was it hard for them?
/r/seduction15/02/18 08:49 PM
1

Ah okay, I see what you're getting at now and I agree. Basically, if the girl feels that you're safe, she's more at ease and attracted to you? Like she can feel okay with turning you down and knowing you won't kill her for it.
/r/seduction15/02/18 02:35 PM
3

While this is a good point, it kinda goes against being forward and assuming attraction no? Or am I misunderstanding you?
/r/seduction14/02/18 10:49 PM
1

Yeah, I know logically that it happens and isn't anything to get all anxious over but my mind is weird in that it knows the logical thing and then just goes off the rails with overthinking anyway. Which is why I'm considering starting therapy to try and get my mental health under control in various situations. With this girl I'm not too worried because I'm invited to a party she's throwing in the next month or something. I figure then I'll be able to tell what's up a bit more.
/r/seduction14/02/18 10:35 PM
1

I get all that, because logically it makes sense. I just felt a connection with a girl I recently talked to so I'm a little more on edge recently. Plus, I may have stuff I need to actually address in therapy which I made an appointment with for the first time this week. Life is just kinda beating my ass more than I would like and nothing seems to be working lately so I'm a lot more anxious right now than I would like to be. I'm not going to text/message her any time soon (at least not this week)…
/r/seduction14/02/18 07:21 PM

What? Who hurt you?
/r/seduction06/02/18 05:23 PM

I mean, I've been trying to improve little by little in all this for the last few years and just when I start thinking I got it, I get a reality check and reminded I still have work to do. I still have little idea what I'm doing with kino which was a huge sticking point for a while with me and I come off as very touchy, which I am, but I'm worried I come off as creepy touchy still.
/r/seduction06/02/18 02:59 PM
1

You missed my point. I'm saying women would only use me for money assuming I start making a lot in the future. I don't want to be settled for, which is what I'm worried about.
/r/seduction06/02/18 02:52 PM
11

While you make a very good point about not ejecting from set just because she's in a relationship, I disagree with you about it being worth it. Sometimes it's just about being a better man and I also believe in karma in that regard. I'm not one to tell anyone who does this to not do it, because I don't care, but I also wouldn't appreciate a woman cheating on me with some guy who has something I don't.
/r/seduction05/02/18 10:15 PM

LOL those girls are drunk as fuck

I can relate to this really hard. I suggest being yourself but it doesn't mean you have to be unconfident. What you wrote doesn't have to be mutually exclusive, you can be both confident, unapologetic, etc. while being yourself. I'm in the same boat right now and it's really tough, especially being out of school and in my mid-20s.

What I think happened in the last year or so is that the algorithm changed. I remember when it was still unlimited swipes and I got a lot of matches, then it slowed down A LOT. I recently deleted my account and reinstalled it to reset it and got about 50 matches in a week. Now it slowed down again. I really want to know the algorithm.

/r/seduction30/01/18 02:43 PM

Yup, some of the stuff is fun to watch for ideas, but not all of it is one size fits all. That's the problem with all this stuff. People think what works for one person will work for everyone.
/r/seduction29/01/18 06:17 PM
1

I mean, I agree with you, and I don't really use Tinder nearly as much as I used to. I'm just wondering how to start merging the two without sacrificing online dating for the sake of practice.
/r/seduction26/01/18 05:30 PM
2

I like this comment just because all that gimmicky shit always struck me as forced and stupid. It's funny to read about but watching it would make me cringe like watching a guy completely not be able to read a girl's cues (mainly in regards to kino, which I was guilty of doing excessively for a long time and probably still am to the outside eye).
/r/seduction26/01/18 02:40 PM

I want to believe this but it's too much.

As hot as the girls you can get by just telling them you have money, I was always under the impression that those aren't the girls you want for the long term. But then again, I don't have money like that yet so I have little experience there.
/r/seduction25/01/18 09:08 PM

Yeah, I'm going to need a TL;DR down there. I tried reading all this but I just couldn't. What happened, what didn't happen?
/r/seduction24/01/18 07:08 PM

How exactly is this legendary? I mean, it's fun to read, but you're sucking his dick like he did something impossible. Dude was just being social and not wasting his time and attention on one girl constantly.
/r/seduction23/01/18 03:59 PM
2

So what I would have suggested you try is just flat out say "Hey, wanna cuddle?/Let's cuddle" and see what she says. Because if a girl you met on tinder invites you over, odds are she knows what's about to go down. You didn't close and that's fine, but for future reference, try to be more bold and direct about it to maybe get a makeout.

I see your point and while I do agree that results help, I think just basic inner game like believing you aren't a piece of shit can go a long way. There is no question that outer and inner game are connected and effect the other in some way, but I think inner game is much more important in that it effects how you view yourself internally. If you view yourself as a piece of shit but have outer game, it doesn't really help.
/r/seduction19/01/18 06:05 PM

I wouldn't use Owen Cook or Mystery as examples. Mystery was basically having a breakdown and deeply unhappy last time I heard of him. Owen just kinda rubs me the wrong way as well. He's a smooth talker, that's really it.
/r/seduction19/01/18 06:05 PM

Same here. I still try it once in a while but mostly I just try to not restrict myself from being scared to actually give my opinion in a way that won't provoke an argument but rather a discussion. I do use kino though, it took me a while to get used to not doing it too much where it creeped the girls out. I actually try to pay attention to reactions on a sub-conscious level now.
/r/seduction19/01/18 04:49 PM

I'm guilty of this myself. I like discussing possible outcomes or strategies for situations that may come up in the future, but some people act like it'll work 100% of the time. That's not how people behave. People aren't predictable or programmed like computers where you input one command and are guaranteed a result. Sure, some people can manipulate better than others, but the people who are able to be manipulated are also usually just set in their ways or dumb, at least in my opinion.

I mean, I get what you mean by outer game, but it really all just comes down to one piece of advice "Talk to her/everyone". It's like sales, to make a sale, it essentially comes down to being likable and knowing how to talk/hype the product and benefits the product can make in a person's/organization's life. In seduction, all you're doing is pitching yourself to people and how you can enrich their lives. That is why inner game is probably more important than outer game in my opinion. Because inn…

To answer you, that's because there is no manual for women. This is why all the advanced stuff isn't even advanced in my opinion. It's all about just becoming fucking competent at talking to people. The problem I have with this sub is there are people that for some reason think there's a manual to get women when really you just get better at talking to people. That's really it. At least my POV. All the strategies you see here and tactics don't work on all women. People aren't fucking robots.

I agree with this 100% I was much more ballsy apparently at 9 and 10 according to my father than at 26 because I didn't really have many obligations. It's only when I started to really become aware of how my behavior impacted my life at that point did I start becoming more reserved and careful around people I don't know well enough.

I kinda had this experience where I was in a bad situation professionally and my relationship suffered. I was thinking about how to make it better because I didn't want to be a loser my ex was going out with so the stress just kinda made me lash out at her. I have this same problem. I think it's more just about chemistry with a person after a certain point. My issue right now is that to prevent myself from being clingy, I don't really text unless making plans, which also makes the relationship seem very transactional if that's the right word. I recently met a girl online who I like, saw twice, can't stop thinking about, but our text conversations always end on her terms and I get nervous texting her so I don't look needy off the bat. Online dating got me a lot of success but it's also not a good way to game just because of the whole grass is greener thing. So many options make it hard to stick with one for a long time. You can't take no response personally.
/r/seduction21/12/17 06:24 PM

I'm not debating this because this was a different type of situation (usually I push for a meet ASAP). You clearly didn't read the fact that we had a snap streak going (meaning she was snap chatting me as well as me snap chatting her after her rejection). I read the situation and try to calibrate usually with how I talk to them. Some I'm passive, some I'm more aggressive.

That's fair. I've just never understood how to run routines or be indirect because I always tend to come off as weird doing it when I actually intend to. Basically, if I'm thinking "Okay, let's run game" I just get into my head too much. So I just don't like it. My results are decent, but they would be much better if I just got better at the initial approach and didn't freeze up haha.
/r/seduction07/12/17 03:00 PM
1

I can see that argument, but I also just think I get better results with being direct because then you can just be playful and go a bit into a cocky routine or something like busting the girl's balls depending on her response. I also just don't do well with pussyfooting. I pussyfooted around all through HS and most of college and it didn't do me any good until I was more expressive with my interest.

Hey Todd, Any tips on how to shift my mindset to be more positive? I'm not always negative but I want to stop putting myself down when things don't go my way or get frustrated when I fail at something. Also, you have any tips on how to recover a girl after having mediocre sex? Long story short, I had performance anxiety during sex and it changed a girl's opinion of me I think. She said she wanted to keep things casual but now we don't talk and haven't had sex since. I just want to redeem myself …

I'm not being negative here, just factual. I've had success with tinder but I'm also stating that your profile shows up a lot more often as a new user than an active user.

I hate to say it dude, but Tinder is based on algorithm. So you get shown to a lot more people when you first sign up vs. a few weeks in. I'm not saying it to be a dick, but acting like 11 matches in one weekend is impressive when you just downloaded the app isn't accurate.

I really appreciate this post a lot. I don't think I'm the most interesting person in regards to what I do/where I go in my free time because I'm a creature of habit and go to the same bars/places usually. All I'm doing to be more interesting at the moment is trying new things and reading more. This post definitely helped a bit to ease my concerns about not being like Indiana Jones or some shit always doing something "exciting".

You're overthinking. You don't have to NOT bring her back if you see an opportunity to do so. My advice is to talk to her on the phone if you haven't before the date. It'll help relax you.

I'm not going disagree with you because you have a good point, but playing Overwatch for hours a day instead of improving oneself won't really amount to much. It's more about moderation than anything. If someone has goals, they have to figure out how to accomplish them and ultimately, being a top player in Overwatch won't really amount to anything if that's all a person does. My advice having been in this situation is invest less in the one that isn't as eager. I understand that you may happen to like her more, but don't invest much in her. If you're anything like me, you talk to multiple women at times and rank them, determining who you show attention to. I would rank her lower if I was you.

This is very good advice. OP basically just cool off a bit. I know what you're feeling and I've been there. The only way I got out of it was finding other things to preoccupy my time/dating more than one woman.

My issue is I have other goals that don't really let me go out after work all the time lately. I go on dates and stuff lately, but as far as hobbies, I just go to the gym or kickboxing and just picked up my guitar again to practice. If I wanted to, I could probably go out multiple days a week after work but it's not productive to me at the moment. Basically, I'm a little hindered socially because of my current lifestyle/goals.

I am very guilty about not following #1 because sometimes I just don't feel like going out. I'm trying to fix that as well. My issue is I meet people and then suck at keeping up with them/following up and while it's not always on me, I'm not at the top of mind for others.

Thanks for your responses, I really appreciate it. I know that I need to get the girl into a private setting where I can get more physical but my other issue is how blatant to be about it if we live in two different neighborhoods. It makes me kinda nervous still being like "Hey, lets watch X at your place" or something. I actually totally see what you mean about hand holding now. For me, I have no problem just kissing the girl at some point and ramping up the physical contact. For example, I went on a date with a girl recently, second date, and we kissed on it, as we did on the first. /r/seduction03/11/17 08:38 PM

Thank you for this. My whole thing is that ideally, I would rather just cut it down to one assuming all of them are going to work out for longer than a month. I'm just trying to work on myself as well at this time and I'm not sure how I'll be able to do that while dating multiple women haha. Also, what's the rule about having them meet friends?
/r/seduction03/11/17 01:24 PM

I know exactly what you mean since I've been there. I wouldn't feel ashamed if I was you since you had sex. But I am in what I consider good shape myself so I would obviously prefer to date/hook up with fit girls too. Here's the thing though, if you like her, you like her. If you don't, don't sleep with her more than one night. That's really it.

Firstly, I'm sorry for being an asshole if English isn't your first language, but learn to type better because I had a hard time understanding what you said. Secondly, you don't know what changed. They might have just met someone they like more than you. It happens.

So I mean, yes it's a numbers game but it's not like you throw stuff at a wall until it sticks. For the girls in your case, it could be that they just met someone better than you, it happens or they just realize they don't really like you as much. It doesn't really mean you did anything wrong. As far as texting, you have to play it by ear. Don't text too much, but also don't text too little in my opinion. On the dates, did you touch them? Did you engage them? What did you do on the dates? No, don't be a fucking a robot. Again, women and people aren't one size fits all. I get what you mean but I think you take this far too seriously. You just need to keep practicing and talking to a lot of people. That's literally it. All these coaches try to sell products when really all it is is they just talk to a bunch of women and take risks.

Yeah, she totally knew what she was doing and admitted it to me on the way back to her place. The funny thing about this is it didn't really change how the girl interacted with me. I don't really want to make it exclusive and she doesn't seem to want to either. We talk to each other about other dates we go on so it's all good. We also don't see each other all too often since we live a bit far from each other. I will totally discuss this with her in the future though if we go to a party together …

After everything I've been taught between here and similar coaches, it's been to lock in the date and say absolutely nothing until then, unless it's logistical. This is why I don't listen to much advice from coaches. People aren't a fucking equation where you do one thing and it leads to the same result all the time! I legitimately face palmed reading this line. If a girl wants to talk between dates, talk between dates. It's all different and it's a matter of how often you respond. Don't fucking…

I haven't apologized or anything yet. I'm basically going to wait it out before doing anything. My whole worry is her waking up this morning and thinking I was scummy. I know there is nothing I can do about it if it happens, but I just try not to be a scummy person.

It varies. I just started the calling thing but I ask when they can talk and how they feel about calls. Some girls aren't into it because it's so personal now. I generally use it as a "first date" thing to see if there is chemistry depending on how much time there is between getting the number and going out.

Basically, don't become one of those guys that starts thinking "okay, now I have to do X for her to like me" The problem with a lot of PUAs is that they make guys believe all women think the same, all actions have the same results, etc. Don't fall into that trap, because I did when I was younger and it just made me really awkward. Once I slowed down and relaxed and was more or less myself, things fell into place. Not perfectly but it's better than being weird.

Honestly, I'm in a similar situation as you. Met a girl online, had three dates, great first date, second date was good but third date was meh. Anyway, after the first date, texts got kinda staggered from her, and then after the second even more...after the third I haven't heard from her for a few days so I'm going to give it one more shot and then stop. Who knows what happens? Shit comes up, ex can come back, family problems, etc.

So a third with a picture of her parents tied up in my garage is a no? Maybe she'll change her mind last minute.

Put her on the back burner for now. Don't talk every day and try setting up a date over the weekend for next week.

I knew someone would bring up the beta vs alpha thing. I just found what works for me. Everyone is different. I prefer to at least know if someone is into a phone call or not because some people weirdly see it as something couple-ish.

Yeah, I started doing it a few weeks ago with a girl who I now went on a few dates with and it helped me stand out according to her (plus she isn't the best with texting me so we talk on the phone a bit here and there, but I made a whole other topic about that situation). It also helps kinda buffer out the women you would have no chemistry with otherwise I think. Saves time meeting them if you think the conversation is strained/doesn't flow.

I agree with this as I just started getting into phone calls more, however, a lot of girls/people find it really weird if you just call without asking first or building some type of rapport (doesn't have to be extensive but anything really counts). I found at least asking "hey you mind if I call you?" before calling works well. Just because it's better to gauge how the person feels about it instead of freaking them out by calling since now it's viewed as very intimate by people (which is weird b…

It's okay. I met a girl I that I really like and went on 3 dates with but she's not as texty as I'm used to after 3 dates from someone who claims to have fun with me and like me, so I'm not sure what's going on there. Aside from that, I have a FWB who I haven't seen in about 2 weeks because I'm busy, am talking to a few girls online, and I just realized I'm able to cold approach when out without really caring about results as much.

I actually only text her to plan stuff for the most part. I don't text her to talk. We also started a habit where we talk on the phone here and there so I think I'm basically the phone call guy. The phone calls don't even happen that often. I'm not really moving THAT fast or pushing for anything. I just make really amplified and sarcastic jokes about love. But I already decided that if I don't hear from her this weekend about something I invited her to, I'm not going to reach out until Monday ni…

I'm a fan of the two strike rule if I get no response to the first text. I try one more time after and then if there's silence, I move on.

I mean, it's not about the sex here, I'm more than comfortable with waiting in this case since I actually find myself liking her. It's more that the texting cooled down after our first date and I'm just always used to having it ramp up if someone is interested, at least on my end it does (which I'm trying to stop to save conversations for the date). My whole paranoia is me running out of things to discuss and not being interesting since I generally live a pretty simple life (which I'm trying to …

I get your point but you need to stop acting like you're owed a glance. That's what I'm getting at here. Like, why are you acting like they owe you a look?
/r/seduction16/10/17 05:05 PM

I think you're paying too much attention to it. Yes, women walk like that here. But it's not just here and I'm not sure why you expect them to walk around differently. Some women look around, others move with a purpose. I don't walk around making eye contact with everyone either.
/r/seduction16/10/17 04:45 PM

I'm the same way. I lose interest after around 3 dates/sex happens. I think after sex I just kinda realize a lot of these women I end up with are subpar to me and it's fucked up but either I end things or they do. It's the one's I really want that I don't seem to want me.

That's just how it is man. You're taking it too personally. I live in NYC too and I just approach at bars or events when I do approach. You don't always have to wait for eye contact either. My primary method is dating apps too.

I do the same which is why I have to start to force myself to take a while to respond, even if it's fake. I recently had a girl who ended things with me partly because I always wanted to talk to her I think (she didn't say it but I suspect it), so now I'm forcing myself to take time regardless. Plus, I mostly use texting to set up dates at this point because otherwise I run out of things to talk about and it turns into a "how's it going?" "good" conversation.

I'm not saying I have game, but based on the apps I used and the amount of dates I got/how they went, I don't think apps are great anymore. They were fantastic when I got out of a relationship and showing me how many options there were out there. But now, it just gets to be too annoying. I still use them but the quality women are all outside. I'm not ugly and I dress well, but I think I have better results when my personality just shines through first. That's why I start calling women I match wi…

By reading and doing more things in your own life. I'm not really sure how to answer your question because I'm not perfect either but I also don't really follow these PUAs to a T. You just have to experience shit man. Don't take much of what Tyler and them take seriously.

I hate to break it to you, but your example isn't improv. It isn't far off but that's not exactly improv. You're overcomplicating it. Based on my improv experience, which is limited, the basics is to agree and then amplify/add based on what the person said..."yes, and" because if you say "no" it just stops the flow of the skit/conversation.
/r/seduction09/10/17 05:35 PM

Yes and no. Like there is chase and show interest, and then there is really chase and show interest. There's a subtle/cool way to do it where you appear calm, relaxed, cool. The way not to do it is look desperate. You basically want to light a fire but make sure it doesn't burn so fast that it engulfs the entire forest, if that makes sense.
/r/seduction05/10/17 01:33 PM

You ever think about how hard you're actually trying to meet them? Like whenever I don't really chase hard, I end up getting more interest because I appear like I don't care (calm, cool, etc.) It's when I get thirsty and pushy that it backfires. That may be what is happening to you. Just tone it down a little and see.

For me, it isn't that I suck at online game, it's the meeting part I suck at. I can get numbers and dates but then nothing because I have a hard time building a connection/sexual tension. Do you have any tips related to that?

Don't focus on women at this point. Focus on your own health. If one girl rejecting you got you to "I want to kill myself", you should be working on other things in your life.

I used to think I looked terrible with a five o’ clock shadow (as opposed to clean-shaven), but fairly recently a girl I’m seeing made it unmistakably clear she thinks the stubble is sexier. And now when I go out in public after 2-3 days’ growth, holy shit do I get significantly more IOIs from girls. Oh hey, I noticed this like a year ago too. My parents hate the stubble but I hear a lot of good things about it (plus I like how it looks personally so I let it grow more often)

Been to off the wagon and Down the Hatch. Off the Wagon is pretty fun, they have beer pong on the upper level. Down the Hatch is pretty small and can get packed as fuck. There's a nice pretty chill bar across from Down the Hatch on the corner, forgot the name though.

I would recommend Thirteenth Step. It kinda sucks because that's where all the people who just turned 21 go, but it's usually packed if you just want to practice approaching. There's a lot of bars in the LES that I've been to but forgot the names. Drop Off Service is pretty good too.

To the point about your friend, what you think is unattractive, he may think is attractive. That said, lately I'm on a streak with online dating where I'm getting lucky with women, but I'm not sure if I would consider them attractive if I wasn't banging them already. I sometimes/lately often wonder if I'm just settling with the women I'm meeting online.
