Hey boys,

I had to develop my call skills in my youth, since texting only became mainstream in my mid-teens. I didn't grow up with texting.

This has had a profound effect on my friendships and seductions. I'm not saying you always need or should call people, but it can be helpful.

For setting up date logistics, text. It's low pressure. For quick details from friends, whatever it is, text.

But if you can call someone to catch up with them or want to try calling a girl, I suggest you try it.

The weakness of texting is that you need to be a good text-crafter. You need to know how to properly use spelling, grammar, syntax, and emojis to convey your emotions without ever being weird, needy, or robotic.

With calling, you can do this in real time. Your voice is your tone. Your pauses, your intonation, your volume - it's all doing the talking for you and there's little room for misinterpretation.

Also, more people are better at talking than at texting. I know plenty of good seducers who have sub-par texting skills. Until the past few years, that was me. I'd have a girl ready to jump my bones in person but as soon as we started texting, I lost her. She'd go from all the emojis and long paragraphs to ignoring my texts. The consistent variable in my losses was the texting. When I fixed that, my numbers went up.

However, you can minimize its effect by calling people.

A girl is ignoring you or flaked? Give her a call. See if your vocal presence and conversational skills can remind her of why she gave you her number in the first place. It also lets her know you're serious, if the reason she's ignoring you is that she thinks you're a player.

Haven't talked to a friend in a few months? Call him. He'll appreciate it.

You've been sleeping with a girl you really like and want to see her soon? Call her. Tell her that you'd love to see her soon or that she should come over tonight. Booty CALLS are much more effective than booty TEXTS.

Calls are personal. You can text twenty people at once, but you can only call one person at a time, really. It makes them feel special and you can flex your more powerful conversational skills with it, rather than rely on your mechanical texting skills (not to knock on texting; it's a beautiful art).

So, next time you plan on texting someone, ask yourself if a call might work better. It won't always work, especially with gals (it can sometimes be too high pressure or invasive if she's busy), but when it does work, it REALLY works.
