I need some help building my social circle, how should I approach people with this in mind?

Don't always talk to women you'd be interested in romantically. Talk to certain women with the only goal being to befriend them, nothing romantic or sexual. It'll help you increase your social circle and you won't be self conscious if they hook up with a friend because you weren't interested like that in the first place.

Focus on your career and the gym.

A man who is ambitious doesn't have time to fill up his contact list with platonic friends. He doesn't have time to answer texts all day from platonic friends. His time is important, and he spends non-work and gym time with women he is very attracted to, in a physical relationship (or multiple).

When you hit on a woman, and she turns you down, trying to get her into your social circle is needy. It shows you've got nothing going on. At all. Why have a woman in your life who rejected you?

Most guys think, "well, I can make her my friend, and she'll hook me up with her friends".

But that's complete bullshit. When a woman doesn't see you as a sexual option, her friend's likely won't either. Women talk. A lot. I spend most of my free time with my gf, and her girlfriends. They let me hear a lot, because I don't try and control the evening, or talk my ass off, or be the lame ass frat boy. I let them be in their feminine. I'm chill. I'm the rock. And sometimes they reward me for it. ;)

You would not believe how to the point and cruel they can be. While bowling once, a guy came up and hit on my gf's friend. He pre-apologized for hitting on her. When his failed attempt was over, my gf's friend turned to her and said through her teeth, "yeah uh, don't need to apologize for doing nothing wrong". They also talk about what they call "desperate cologne", a smell and aura they claim guys have who approach them, who haven't head sex in forever.

I know this feels like backwards advice, but it's not.

Think of a group of women as a pool of rainbow trout, at the base of a falls. Away from the falls, the trout are finning in the shallows, and even a raindrop will disturb the surface.

You tie on your lure, and cast it into the water. One of the trout swims to the surface, looks at the lure, and swims away as the other trout swim away with it.

Now, imagine the trout strikes the lure, and you reeled in the fish. Then you wait a day, and come back with the same lure.

Social proof is not having a gaggle of platonic friends. It's having success in physical relationships with women.

Find a new pool of trout.

And if you get the same results, improve yourself at the gym, in your clothing, in your vocabulary.

Then find another pool.

Honestly I have a similar issue. I can talk to strangers if my end goal is to fuck them (Still have horrible AA, but it's doable). If I'm talking to a dude I don't know well or a girl I'm not romantically interested in, I don't know how to become a friend.

Same as with a girl you like man. You create a reason to meet and time bridge. Oh you like purple bandana factories? I do too! Let's go drop acid and buy bandanas on Thursday at 2am. Sounds good see you then. Time bridge, reason for follow up, now I need your number so we can coordinate. Oh by the way my 2 other female friends are coming
