I think a lot of new guys are getting a little overwhelmed with the massive amounts of advice here. One thing I just want to stress to everyone is to be yourself. I know it's cliche and old-fashioned advice but hear me out.

"Reddit_Jester, myself is someone who just sits around watching anime and gaming! No girl is into that!"

Well, that may be somewhat true, but that's why you try to expand your interests. Read some interesting articles, posts on reddit, etc. Then you can even bring up anime and stuff when it's apparent you have other fucking interests aside from that.

I'm no Casanova and a bunch of dudes here are better than me, but being yourself, not filtering yourself, works like a charm. You can't just limit yourself thinking she won't like you. You limit yourself, she gets bored and says she didn't feel a connection or ghosts you. I would know because it happened to me MULTIPLE times for various reasons. Mostly it was because I filtered myself. If you don't filter yourself, you look like you don't care, which makes you look confident.

That said, there are limits. Don't get racist or homophobic or aggressive with women. If that's how you are unfiltered, I suggest you change your world views or just don't date until you have done that.
