Hey I was curious to know if it is effective to pre-load a future conversation by acknowledging a promising subject to converse about via form of media? For example, text or message a person that you heard they enjoy a particular sport team or an intellectual subject and that you would suggest you should debate about this matter next time you meet. This also includes dancing, types of night life establishments, etc, Of course word this in a fun, friendly, seddit-style way.

Reasons being: to acknowledge similar interest, to further open the interaction, and increase comfort.

I ask cause it seems like there's too much weight on next encounter and/or seems like you're relying heavily on technology, instead of making it seem spontaneous when you do talk face to face.
