go to party make sure you have talked to everyone guys included. and Bloody hell don't be outcome dependent just have a good time its a party. focus on the moment not on what will happen later. go in expecting nothing and the world will offer so much more you wouldn't have imagined.

If i go somewhere wanting an outcome to do a single thing, quite often i am then blind to other much better opportunity that come and go because im busy focused on something else, for example if im focused on one girl at the party, i may miss a invite to go with some bro's into town where i could have met my future wife. just because i was so focused on one outcome that may be a loss.

tl:dr for the last bit is don't be outcome dependent and live in the now!
