Replying to slow texts

Overeager girls aren't as unattractive to guys in comparison to the other way round. However, I'd probably not text back as I reckon it would help in this instance. I'm guessing you don't know him very well. If you think he thinks he has you in the bag, not texting will unsettle him as it challenges that view. Won't mean he'll respond any better, that's certainly not the case with me, but it does admittedly take some of the power away if the other person you expect to carry your conversation, doesn't, and makes me more mindful of receiving that person's texts in the future.

I am a terrible texter, time-wise. I see it, don't want to reply immediately, then forget for hours. Sometimes I'll remember the next day (or two...) if it's a difficult or awkward to handle text.

I used to reply immediately, but it's just not something I do anymore. Some people think I'm probably game-playing, but it's just how it works out. Even if they do think that, probably gives them something to get their mind chewing over.

It's not really related to how I desirable I find the girl, as unbelievable as that may seem. More likely to get a response at all, but not necessarily more likely to be timely. After a certain point between me and girls, it becomes obvious that any more actual conversation and banter over text doesn't improve your chances really, and can actually negatively effect it (notice you're here wondering what the hell's going on because he doesn't text back?). It beomes just important to keep in contact a few times a week, and as such, it's hard to keep mindful of your timing...

You are mostly over analysing but if I'm taking 30 minutes to reply to texts from a chic it's because I want the text conversation to go at that pace. I do it deliberately because I'm not a text message person and don't want to text 10 messages each back and forward in a hour. I only use texts for summary of a night as a polite goodbye or polite way of keeping the vibe good between us (if we just slept together for the first time), mild short flirting and arrangements. This guy seems the same.

Dont do dumb stuff, be a quick texter.

If I know my answer when I read a txt I'll reply right then.

Otherwise I'll make a note to reply later when I have a moment to think.

Intentionally not replying for X hours is silly.

You could be missing time to setup a date, go out that night, and just get things done.

The "social norm" of purposefully delaying texts does not appeal tor apply o me, it's retarded.
