[Request] Teasing Tips?

I usually tease women the same way I tease my buddies just with a little more tact. If she says something about her not being able to cook, I might say something like "seriously? You can't follow a recipe?" And then laugh in a "it's just a joke" matter.

You can generally do that with almost anything. You watch hoarders? I hope you don't watch it for cleaning tips. You have a cat? How many? Have you mostly resigned from society to live you your days with "your babies" and this is your once a year venture into the world?

It can be realistic or absurd. Either way the point is to be funny and playful. Just be wary that you don't say something that is too true or crass like "do you wear your hair already up to simplify BJs in the back alley" or "do you wear makeup so you can hide the pain of your daddy not loving you."

I know the last two were way harsh but with the right tone you might be able to make them sound funny. The tone doesn't matter though, those are examples of not okay. The point is to be funny and playful without hurting feelings.

Also note that every once in a while you may hurt someone's feelings because they are over sensitive, it happens, move on. I actually made a girl cry by saying something from Style himself "you can dress her up but can't take her out." I was mortified but hey I lived and so did she.

A great question. Theres no one answer to where the line goes, we've all crossed it one way or another. It's a sense, like everything else in social situations, that you have to develop through practice. Some are lucky to be born with it.

If you do cross the line, don't become mortified and apologise, she will smell weakness. But dont be douche either that keeps on going without any regard for respect. Recognise that you crossed it, change the tone, and move the focus of the conversation to something else. Once I saved a convo after crossing the line, where she said "you are harrasing me! :-/", with "No, I WAS harrassing you, now I am making you a drink", in a sense apologising through actions and not through words, and changing the focus.

As to estimating a principle where the line would go, you can tease her but never cross the line into serious territory (unless you are doing a nuclear neg) you are doing, keep refreshing with two steps forward one step back (unless you are escalating hard), never directly insult (unless nuclear..). Theres no rule as I said, only principles that can guide you.

Don't tease indiscriminately. Don't tease women who are insecure. Tease women who will bite back. Then it's a fun banter.
