Something I once read and stayed with me: "Woman have respect in the beginning of their life until the age of 30 kinda, then slowly it get's less. Men work hard their entire life to gain respect and it grows day after day." Now I don't want to sound a sexist and this sentence is not always true, but think about it: women are arrogant at a young age because they have the attention of everybody. They ignore guys mostly because they have prettiness and rule with that. when they start getting older their decay of power come amongh with age and they start getting desperate. While men with time gain experience and a reputation this leads to respect day after day.
