RSD Started Advertising. Something Fishy is happening.

RSD has moved into general self help and is no longer doing pickup. They say (Tyler), that they spent too much time on pickup and there's more money in self help. Why did they remove the RSD label? To dissociate from pickup. Why are all there videos gone, the forums, the groups? Scared of lawsuits, me too, erase their origins, getting into trouble in the media again, to completely rebrand as self help.

My honest opinion:

The probability of RSD coming out king is fairly low, i just don't see how they will be able to do it. They would basically need to have a bunch of guys like Julien, Max, Todd, etc etc who post shit tons of content on a regular basis. This is not the case with their current team.

Their current (or last) RSD team was:

Jeffy. Who is funny and proverbial, but I can sense from miles away just how much he is getting tired of the same thing over and over again. He never really posted regularly before and is not doing it to day. Still love him.
Tyler. Who, let's be honest, is the guy who is taking all the weight and holding the forth now that Todd, Max, Julien and the old school guys have quitted the RSD mark. Tyler is, at least for now, the most valuable asset of RSD. People know RSD because of him. People are willing to spend $1000 more to take a bootcamp by Tyler that is actually ran by his assistants. The guy is RSD.
Luke. Who unfortunately does not have the best reputation, clearly reflected in his low subscribers number and compared by how many years have passed since he was introduced by Todd. I don't think he gives a shit. He clearly is successful and couldn't care less.
Madison. Who is fine and ... recently was going up ... just bad timing for him.
Maze and EV. Who are likely fun and great guys, but i don't see why they would like to be instructors nor do i feel they really wanted to go this path. EV rarely posted and I believe RSD's idea was to try to market him as the new Julien, but EV seems like he just doesn't gives a fuck about posting videos. His new channel has not been updated in over a month. He looks like he is doing well anyways in other areas and could not care less. And Maze, who is marketed to appeal to the younger generation Z but unfortunately never saw his hustle when it came to grow an audience just like Julien or Max did at their time. This is reflected on how many students they both have per bootcamp. My friend went to a bootcamp with Tyler which Maze ended up instructing, and he was the only one signed with EV, no one else signed ... in Vegas! So, they are not really bringing a lot of cash from bootcamp to RSD.
Sarah. I told Tyler in one of his videos this was a tricky move from them, and it is, not either one that is cool for her or us. Tyler got really mad when I compared Sarah to be the Captain Marvel of RSD. I can't remember how many times he edited his comment, but he went from fully talking me down to a bs pc reply. Sarah is or was their way to make RSD mainstream friendly by making them look good because they have a woman and therefore, they are inclusive and good guys, if you take a moment to check however, what has Sarah done to earn being an instructor? She doesn't has infield, or at least, infield you can learn from. She looks clearly nervous when she is on camera and it is NOT her fault but Tyler's for not training her proper like he did with Julien. Yeah her bootcamps must be great because everything is great when a girl who is at least a solid 8+ is besides you, but you could save the money, make friends and it would be the same. Not cool Tyler, and he knows it.

The fate of RSD right now relies on Tyler and whether he posts content or not, unfortunately. The distributed pillars they once had were either fired or moved on.

Finally. Owen says this and says that. But he must be measured by one of the great things he once said: Look at the behavior, not at what they say.

Owen has said many many times things where he never executes fully. Do you guys remember when he said he was going to release a fitness channel "just for fun" ? Well ... 3 or 4 years have gone by and we will never see that. How about his "retirement" tour ? At this rate he will end it up in 3099.

I like Owen, I've truly benefited from his content, but I also see his actions and where I may step away and have a fact based opinion. Shutting down rsdnation just like that without further notice to it's customer base, WTF? They "say" they are working on a website, but honestly who is doing it and why is it taking so long? I have developed websites for big enterprises, and when you are big and have big money like RSD has (plus shit tons of acolytes who basically are working for free for you) you don't shutdown for months like that.

Based on how their current sites are setup (drupal for rsd nation, wordpress for their paid content), I can tell you the odds their new plattform will take them forever to come to fruition are more than likely. They just have never invested on their digital infrastructure.

Finally, yeah the self help market is bigger so they will likely be able to make more bucks out of it, but they will never be kings there. It is not the end of RSD, it is just the end of them being a lead company. They are probably ok with it. Papa just looks at the $$$ and Tyler well he deserves some peace he has given us great content for over 10 years. Still love the guy and have massive respect for him. Hope he does well.

I only found out about Tyler recently and his videos are pretty good but have a look at the workshop preview (final video in his 6 part series on youtube). Looks like a fucking cult, with all the group-hysteria-induced confidence, erasing your old self/second birth etc.
