The point of asking for your IG is most probably that she wants to profile you. It is very common and almost everyone does it consciously or subconsciously. She can see all your pictures and story highlights (even the ones you don't share on Tinder), so she can get a better picture of your appearance and attractiveness, see the people you hang out with, your activities, the number (and sex) of your followers, how active you are, etc. All these help her form a better picture of you before meeting you in person. This better picture may reinforce or weaken her desire to go out with you, but you can't do anything about it. Maybe you could have asked something like "You like what you see?" when she asked you for your IG, or make it a game like "I got personal stuff that I don't like to share with complete strangers. If we go out and I decide you are not a murderer. I'll give it to you, I promise."
