I usually go to the mall and shopping center to sarge, and I've done it with someone (not necessarily a wingman, just a friend I can go back to just in case I get rejected. It also helps me feel more "in the zone" so to speak). I did my first approach a week ago, and got a number, and did another one Friday (first set ever, felt good) and also got a number. But my problem is, when I'm alone, I always make excuses to not approach. When I'm with friends, there's this sense of comfort in knowing I can go back to them just in case something bad happens. And I know if I get rejected if I'm alone, I won't die or anything, but still, it just terrifies me. Or I think maybe it's because I don't know how to gain social momentum when I'm alone. So, what's a good way to get started on solo sarging?
