Seddit, I need advice & examples for the beginning of conversations, first few minutes for when first meeting girls. I feel like I'm better at talking about deeper topics and stuff but I seem to struggle getting a spark in the beginning to get them really attracted to me and wanna talk again.

Ok Seddit, I'm looking for advice on opening and the first few minutes of the interactions with girls. I am not really that clever or extremely funny, to know what to say to get them sexually attracted and or interested in talking longer or possibly wanting sex later. I feel like whenever I talk to girls it just ends up being a somewhat boring and platonic convo. I've talked to girls at my job it's not a serious job. People have gotten together there before so it's not some workplace where people don't hookup. I'm in college lol. But when I've talked to them it's usually been I'll introduce myself, handshake they'll say their name. Then I usually will ask so where are you from or what is your major they'll respond with it, I'll say oh that's cool and the topics just don't seem interesting enough to me but I don't know exactly what's better to say. Usually then I'll see them when I'm working and it'll just be hey, how are you? They'll respond with good how are you? And it's just boring and seems like nothing really to me. Please give me tips or examples.
