When people say, just relax around beautiful women, you'll do a lot better... it doesn't help me that much. I need to have some rules. A foundation, if you will. It's just who I am. But, there is more to it than that.

I noticed that I was having a lot of success when I thought through what I was doing wrong in each interaction, making changes, reading bits of advice here and there. But sometimes I would hit a wall, and that was when I needed to let go a little more. Basically, if you're doing things right, and make it into a conversation with a great girl, and then you find yourself mentally exiting the conversation because you're trying to remember something you've read, you crash and burn. When you make it into a conversation, the new #1 rule should be, don't let anything take you out of the moment. There's no way to prepare for the moment, the conversation, or the people some times. If you constantly find yourself at a loss for things to say, you're probably not getting 'lost' in the conversation enough.

Put all your energy into her, and processing and understanding what she's saying. There were days I'd get home, rewind, play back something she said, and realize, she was funny.... but I didn't laugh. Because my brain was somewhere completely different. If she cares enough to talk to you, you don't need any more validation. It may be good to still do certain good practices, but you can do that at your own pace. Don't ever sacrifice the moment for methodology.
