I just had a holy shit the lights just came on moment. For anyone that is just beginning all the way to the top, I think this may apply. I just realized that the entire thing that sets the people that are successful in social settings apart from those that aren't is entirely dependent on how you present yourself.

It is almost like an audition. If whoever is doing the casting doesnt think you have what it takes; the energy, the charisma, - if you were to get up and have no energy, where it is almost painful to watch you struggle ( you know the ones, that everyone laughs at when they crash and burn on American Idol), you are tripping over your words and lack any believable emotion then they will be saying next faster than you can finish your first line.

However, if you are able to come of with the charisma, friendliness and confidence - the RDJ swagger I wish I had- then you will have her attention and from there you can either entertain or crash and burn - idk this seemed much better in my head; at a [3]
