Stats on OKC so far are very good though I was initially skeptical. 9 emails out, 2 #close, 1 meetup close (?), all HB 8/9/10 (OKC 4 star/5 star), ages 25-28, very smart, all "replies very selectively" and meeting my incredibly picky criteria. I would say 2 of the 9 emails we're not good on re-reading, just stale. Converted the #'s to dates but for me that's a given, ymmv. A+ for OKC on filtering, I won't say exactly what my criteria is but it's incredibly specific and I can just zero right in on it, it's just crazy what women will answer on there.

I was initially concerned there were a lot of fake profiles or inactive stuff but after researching and tweaking I don't think that's true. Had a tech friend do some research and fri/sat night there were literally hundreds of HB8/9/10's logged in at peak times when they could/should have been out with great guys.

The meetup close is sort of weird, girl did not want to give her number but actually made plans directly via OKC messages. Said she had a bad experience recently, I wouldn't normally have done it but I believed her and it's never happened before so I want to understand it. She's younger (25) so maybe also part of the not using a phone as a phone generation. I really didn't get the sense she's gonna flake but I'm taking the risk that she's lame or has some other serious defect I normally qualify out with a call.

Will provide FR after dates. Also two unsolicited contacts that were pretty forward but outside my criteria. One "...Really liked your profile, let's get a drink...". In my experience that's an f-close for you to screw up.

Couple really basic things:

Only message women who have been on in day or maybe week. Time/day you message them is *really important. I'm not going to give that away but common sense should help you out there.

DO NOT answer questions where their isn't an upside for YOU. Some examples:

  • How often do you tweet?
  • STALE is to STEAL as 89475 is to...
  • Do you think women have an obligation to keep their legs shaved?

This set of questions, regardless of how you answer, can only be used by a woman to deselect you. Unless you really give a shit about twitter, or whether you're match can do word puzzles or want to seem like a misogynist there is no upside no matter how you answer.

DO stitch together just over 50 questions and no more (use skip A LOT) that have an upside for you:

  • Does smoking disgust you?
  • Should evolution and creationism be taught side-by-side in school?
  • Do you feel guilty or bad after having sex?
  • Are you fetish-friendly?

This set of questions actually helps you filter matches on things that matter to you. Smoking, I want a non-smoker. Evolution, if you don't firmly believe in evolution then I have zeo time for you. If you have serious issue with sex I'm not for you. Fetish friendly: really that's just a question about whether they use vibrators/etc and whether you're cool with it. Definitely a must have for me. Not your style then skip it and go with "How open are you to trying new things in bed?", very open.

I hope I made the distinctions clear.

I would like to determine if what I've ironed out is reproducible so if you're otherwise competent at dating high grade women but have had bad luck/no luck with OKC I'd like to share some stuff to try.
