This story begins like any other; there was this super cute girl I've been head over heels for. Our friendly relationship started months ago, before I really dove into the world of seddit. I told her at the beginning it was a shame that I wasn't the dating type. I even called her my best friend. Life goes on, I'm my usual over emotional self, she's her usual coldhearted self. Every time I said something stupid that made her stop talking to me, some other wonderful smart-ass comment filled with emotional comment was waiting around the corner of my mind. I'd throw that out, and things would go on. Put simply, I was just an idiot who was stuck running in circles. Just a young dumb-ass. I haven't spent any time dating yet for two reasons. 1) Dating in high school is stupid and a waste of time. 2) I don't really care for sex as a motivator, and I feel it's foolish to think I could find a serious relationship as a teenager. She'd go off to college and I'd go live in a slum as a poor writer anyways: there's nothing to it, all just a bunch of shitty time wasting nonsense. Me and my pride: so, shit cut short, what can do? The girl I practically love has ditched my ass for some faceless phantom. Should I just run? Move along and find something else? I understand there are plenty of opportunities in the world and that I'm still young and all, but I want this opportunity. How do I fight the good fight? I'm still running my standard game (which has improved tenfold since I started reading up on things), but what more can I do?

Edit: I feel like an idiot for even posting this. I'm pretty sure of the answers, but I'm refusing to face the truth.

TL;DR I wasted my time. Wonderful girl met another boy. What can I do to keep fighting?
