Friend helped me meet this girl, we exchanged Instagrams. I asked her out during our first meeting but she said she's not in the city during the weekend.

I thought until next weekend or when she's free I'd initiate some texting, but she's giving me very little to work with responding with short answers.

I know the obvious first thing to come to mind is that she's not interested but my friend told me she's pretty shy and weary of strangers and I had the same feeling when talking to her.

How do I proceed with texting until at least Wednesday when I can ask her out.
