She acknowledges it and the conversation goes on and soon she probably forgets about it. But if you let her wonder that you may be a great cook, and she actually finds out you're a great cook, it stays in her mind and she praises you instead. Now she's thinking, not only is he mysterious but wow he's a great cook, the list about this amazing guy just goes on.
