LMK Anyways I’m 24m and my best friend who has been my friend for over 10 years was talking to this girl 22f he went to school with and they have only been friends and never hanging out outside of school, but after 2 years of them knowing each other he asked her to go out with us to the clubs and she agreed, so I drove with him because I’m the DD I don’t drink and if I do get a drink it’s maybe 1 or 2 which is nothing, but anyways we picked her up and I have never seen her before and she was beautiful! During the drive I’m talking to her more then he was and once we got to the clubs and bars downtown she was always around me more then him and I never seen them two talking 1 on 1, but later that night he told me “I’m gonna hook up with her” and I just laughed and said yeah go for it ( knowing he’ll get too drunk and pass out), after the bars I took them home and when I got home she added me on IG and the next day was the 4th so my best friend had a BBQ party and she came with her daughter and during the whole time she was there they only talked a few times while I was talking and laughing the whole time it was like I was stuck to her hip lol. She left the party early to take her daughter home and a few hours later she massages me on IG about a inside joke we made about my seat at the party because my seat was all fucked up, but anyways we stayed talking on IG and that day I was gonna light fireworks with my friends, but they got too fucked up and clocked out early, so when I got home it was late and I told her on IG that our plans got messed up and she invited me to her families place to watch the fireworks and I agreed, I get down there and she meets me by my car and on the walk we both talked about how weird it was that we are hanging out with my best friend which made me feel like I’m stabbing him in the back. She introduces me to her family and friends and i think everyone liked me, but I couldn’t be 100% sure because everyone was drunk or drinking a lot lol, but overall I had so much fun with her and when it got to late I told her I’m heading out, she walks me to my car and we laugh and talk for a little one on one and when I get home she texted me (I got her number at this point) that she had a good time and wanted to hang out with me more and wanted to get to know me better with a ;) lol but this is a girl of my dreams and I think her and me can have something really great together, but back of my mind It’s killing me that I’m going behind my best friends back and talking to a girl he was wanting to get with for a while. There’s a super high chance he’ll cut me off if I keep this going with her, so i just want to know what will you guys do?

Update: I went out with a group of people for drinks and when it started getting kinda late I talked to my best friend about it all and it turned out good. He told me he invite her to go out with us so she can meet his friends and he knew that I was gonna like her, so he was glad her and me started talking. I asked him about why he said he was trying to fuck her that night and he doesn’t remember and blamed it on drinking and I told him about after his BBQ when he blacked out I went to her place and he was surprised on how fast me and her started connecting and I left that night with him saying to not fuck it up, so Everything I was worried about went away. That same night she texted me that she put her kid to sleep and I can come over, so I left the bar and I went to her appointment and told her I talked to my best friend and I told her about the braking bro code thing and she thought it was the stupidest thing ever and we just laughed about, but overall thanks guys and the people saying to ditch her and it’s only been a few days that I’m in over my head type of shit.. well guess what everything is gonna be alright!
