Trust me, that means nothing. Maybe he was looking for an "empty" place to talk without being overheard or interrupted, another possibility is that he didn't like the fact someone was walking behind him while he was on phone 🤷🏻‍♂️.

Regarding the late response, it just took him a while to figure it out: * First, he's on phone, that's where his attention was placed. * Second, you both haven't talked before, so if it just took him out off guard.

Advice: talk to him when he's not on phone, I'm sure he will not bite.
