I really casually browse this subreddit but I had a situation that could use an analysis.

I was socializing before class, and the cute girl in our class approaches our group. Nobody really takes notice, so I turn around to chat her up.

Unprovoked, and before I'm even comfortable talking to her (not even sure if she was interested/flirty), she sets her bookbag down and gives me her coffee saying "hold this." I don't think anything of it other than she needed to rearrange her books, so I start talking to my other friend. She takes the cup back and sits down...conversation over.

Anyway. It wasn't til later, that it dawned on me that she might have used that to kind of "sort me out", as in will he be beta and just do as I say? or will be alpha and give me a little shit.

What do you guys think? I'm not too preoccupied about it, but the idea popped in my head, and I thought I could learn a thing or two about thinking on the spot.
