I have no real idea what the difference is, but it's classic aggressive marketing techniques. "Secret", "Forbidden" and "Unapproved" are key words to get you to defy "the order", thus making you somewhat unconventional and rebellious, thus unique.

So I'm going to delete your post. The problem is not that we don't want you to know about /pickup, the problem is that seddit has grown large enough to become a target of aggressive marketing and we will do everything possible to prevent exploitation of seddit and sedditors.

We should have a resolution of this issue soon and there will be a time for public discussion. Just hang on.
