I have learned a lot about my body through reading this subreddit. Mostly I learned that previously I was simply not conscious of my body position.
Step 1: Shoulders
This was an issue for me. As I became more aware of my body, I found that my shoulders frequently slumped forwards. People interpret that as being closed off to communication and generally unhappy.
Sometimes my shoulders were raise up when I was nervous. Even if you act completely calm, when your shoulders are raised, people think you are anxious.
Forcing my shoulders back and down did not feel comfortable at first. At first I had to relax a lot before I could even hold them there for any amount of time. I found that doing a few pushups or bench presses helped a lot, and over time it got easier and easier.
When your shoulders are back your chest is pushed out. If you push your chest out too far, you will look like a rooster and that would be silly. But when your shoulders are slightly back from your torso, people interpret it as being open hearted, confident, secure with your body image, even capable of handling anything that might happen.
Step 2: Feet
I remember watching Style talk about how you should always open a set from the side - never face a set or they think you are there to stay. By facing sideways and turning toward the set you express higher social worth and impose an artificial time limit on the exchange.
I am a relatively focused person, so I usually look at whatever I am thinking about. Similarly when I point my body towards something, generally my feet were also pointing at it. I noticed that when I walked, my feet were always parallel. With my shoulders more forward I would typically walk on the ball and toe part of my foot.
As I become more body conscious I was able to move my shoulders back, which made me lean back more while I walked. This shifted my weight more on to my heels. You can then turn your feet to point slightly more out to the left and right - such that they don't point in the direction you are walking, but rather just a bit off to either side. As you walk shift your weight from your heel forwards along the outside edge of your foot.
This whole process will make you walk slower. You can try pausing slightly with each step, like you are only moving one leg at a time. Doing this might make you walk with a bit of a swagger that has the same effect as Style's 'rocking' maneuver. Particularly if you step a few inches wider than your shoulder span. Also try rotating your knees to point where your feet are pointing or bowing your legs out by moving your thighs a half-inch away from each other.
If you use a walk like this for an approach where the target sees you walking, they are going to read a lot of confidence and social proof from it. If you walk like a wealthy man, you must be a wealthy man.
Step 3: Pelvis
You can not F-close without a pelvis. In many ways your pelvis is the most visible part of the package you are selling (puns intended :).
This technique is fairly subtle in terms of the amount your body changes position, but the perceptual difference is huge. It took me several years to even realize what this was - several people had showed it to me, but I always thought they were saying to push my pelvis forward slightly. This feels and looks awkward. Do not do that.
The idea is to slightly (about 3 or 4 degrees) rotate your pelvis back, such that your butt goes down and under and your penis moves slightly up and towards your body. The effect of this is that you very subtly appear to be making spacial allowances for your crotch area. As if you have to be conscious of it because your penis is rather large and must be attended to. You will be seen as more virile and masculine.
As an added bonus, moving your pelvis in this way requires the same muscles that women exercise when they do kegel exercises.
