Hi guys,
28 y/o sedditor from NYC here. /r/GothamSeddit/ represent!
I've been participating in this board for 2 + years, on & off. Always been a bit of a natural, but when it came to gaming HB8+, seddit has helped me a lot.
Anyway, so through what I've learned here and on other fantastic reddit boards (ahem, /r/malefashionadvice ), I was able to pull a HB9 last November and have been dating her exclusively for a year now.
Have any of you read /u/weddingthrasher 's post on having a hotgirlfriend? It's worthwhile, especially as you move into the more intermediate / advanced techniques. I found that as I started pulling hotter women, I started to get tempted to settle down a bit. It's good to know the ground rules first.
Anyway, so I'm at the 1 year + mark with this girl, and, as many late-twenties couples do, we're starting to talk about moving intogether, moving to a new city together together, etc. She's fired off a few warnings "I'm not going to date you for several years without understanding if this is going to head towards marriage". But not in an ultimatem-ey way, just in a "This is my life priority and I want you to be aware of it if we're going to continue seeing each other" kind of way. The romantic part of me really likes the idea of growing up and growing into a couple with this woman.
But there's another side to me too. I've learned a lot here, and I haven't just turned it off. I regularly meet & strike up conversations with women in coffee shops, bars, etc. I # close, telling myself I "just want to know more people in my area". But in the back of my head, I know there's a part of me that yearns to play the game again. At any moment, as long as I haven't moved in with my girlfriend, I could break up with her, I know I could go sarging for a few days, and have my old lifestyle back. I fucking loved running a soft harem out of my NYC apartment, sometimes bedding 2-5 different women a week. The sedditor hates the idea of the commitment, the fact that I'm getting out of shape, that my social skills are becoming dulled. But I also remember how vapid and unfulfilling getting laid in a city like NYC can be.
I'd love to hear some thoughts from the 25+ seduction community on how they're handling all their friends getting married, having babies, all the while you're still out focusing in yourself, becoming outcome-dependent, and #/K/F-closing HBs all the while.
TLDR - I'm growing up seddit, should I do what the rest of my friends are doing or should I focus on myself? On your deathbed, which life would you rather have led?
there doesn't seem to be anything here
