I have provided a lot of help here, but I can now use your insight about this situation.

Yesterday I was was paying my groceries at a store nearby me, the cashier that was helping me was cute. While paying I saw an old friend and we started to talk, got my groceries and left for my car.

Walking to my car I remembered the cashier being cute, so I went back in. I walked straight to the girl and told her she seems interesting and told her I want her number. She hesitated but said "Sorry, I'm not giving that."

Fast forward to that night. I was enjoying some beers at a local club when I get tapped against my shoulder. I turn around and it's the girl from the store, she asked me if I remembered her. We talked for a bit and I asked her why she didn't give her number. She said it wasn't professional of het to give me her number, so I told her she is not at work now.

I was heading outside where the girl was with her friends. We talked for a bit and told me that it was a bold move to go back and ask for her information, but she and her friends thing I am a player and I fuckboy. They said this because "I had the balls and it went so fluently, so I had to do this a lot." (which I don't). Also her brother told her that I would have another girl in no time.

I deflicted these questions by agreeing and amplifying them, after a while they headed home. Her friend told a friend of mine that she wanted a real men and not a player.

So, dear sedditors, how do you handle a situation like this? I mean, this was my second approach ever, and I got the label 'player' and 'fuckboy' just because I had the balls to approach her, and because her brother told her that I would have another girl in two days. Which isn't true, since I barely know the guy.

I am not hung up on this girl, since I don't know her. I'm just curious what you guys think is best to do in situations like this.
