She has hopes, dreams, tragedies and struggles. More than a book, people have a whole library of stories both happy and sad, boring and exciting. We all have some history that, if made into a movie, would win Oscars.

To tap this, you have to cultivate a genuine curiosity for people. If you only want to "get to know" hot women, then your conversations will be as shallow as you are. How do you develop an interest in people? Like most of this subreddit, it's a little information and a lot of practice. Conversation is a muscle like anything else. It needs regular exercise.

The easiest practice is starting a conversation with baristas, grocery clerks and other service industry jobs. They're paid to make friendly smalltalk with you. They even open the conversation, usually with How is your day? or something similar. You have no investment in the conversation. There's a bonus too. As you get better at conversing, sometimes you get special perks because you showed genuine interest in them as a person.

Once you are comfortable, start going out of your way to spark up a conversation with people around you during your day. It may be an observance about the weather, or something happening around you. Whatever it is, pipe up! If they don't answer, well, meh. Most people will make some smalltalk, even for a few seconds. Make this a habit. You will find yourself becoming more social and growing conversationally.

If you want a more technical breakdown, look into business networking for consultants and freelancers. There's also a lot of information here on specific strategies and techniques. But if you don't cultivate a curiosity for people, it will be hard to use these without sounding fake.
