being funny is really different than having a sense of humour. Having a sense of humour can be achieved easily (almost everyone already has it), it just needs a bit of relaxation and just being in the moment. However, being a comedian or specifically "funny" (you can make an audience laugh not just a girl you date) needs an additional level of talent and skill.

I am a genuinely super funny guy. I almost had a girl in tears on my last date... But any first encounter/approach I seem to lose so much of my ability to come across funny and aloof, and its like my brain locks up with comedy, humour and jokes and I have no clue why.
