I've always had a problem with texting/using facebook chat, as my game in that case is virtually non-existant. In "real life", barely any of my conversations are small talk as there is too much to play around with - eye contact, voice tone, kino, etc. - and if the conversation gets boring I can just pull a huge amount of crazy kino tricks and other stuff. I consider myself to be pretty good with words, but that's because the words in itself rarely are the focus of it all, in my honest opinion.

The problem is that in text game (and online chats) - which, as the sidebar says, should be directed towards getting a date - I'm just unable to do basics like build rapport. I don't use texts with friends (even close ones) as most of the time the conversation will lead onto the usual "I'm good, you? You too? Great" and small talk grinds my gears. If I've met a girl at a party and we're talking afterwards, unless the conversation is already going smoothly, I've got literally nothing. I need to build rapport on texts when I already have her interest and nothing comes out.

However, I see everyone around me (male alpha friends aswel) doing that easily. I just can't wrap my head around what I can say to someone who I know nothing about and to which I can do nothing to but small talk - opposite of a RL situation where the options are endless. The main goal should be "meet me -----" but as teenagers, we really don't have that much freedom =/

It's something I should've got down long ago, but maybe seddit can help? Specifically with rapport on text/chat messages
